Goodbye sweet prince.

Still feels like yesterday he was playing his early games and showing such a promise after being picked up as a rookie. Held together with glue and sticky tape, probably quite literally, yet at his best was one heck of a full back.

Well done Jamo, all the best.

An intelligent man with poise and fineness and a great defender, his passion and respect for the navey blue would be great mentoring for our young developing players.
I hope he joins Walks in an active role at the club for a while yet.
Thanks for great many mentories Jamo and Good luck with any ventures beyond football.

Jamo has truly had a career to be proud of.

Was a general in our defense when we had very very little quality back there. It's a shame that his body is shot just as we have a fairly strong back 6, imagine a 2010/11 quality Jamison in there right now.

Was very often undersized but used his smarts and played through pain and battled courageously against whoever we put him up against. Sad to see him go.

Smart fellow, I'm sure he'll do fine after footy.

Shame we won't hive him a proper send-off like Walker. But congrats on a great career with the Blues.

Jamo was a great player for Carlton. For what it is worth I believe he has given Carlton heaps more than Walks but because he is not as flashy has not received the same kudos by many. Also I believe he played with a consistency of discipline that was often lacking with Andrew. As I see it Andrew's career was as much marred by head space as it was injury. However in Jamo's case injury would appear to be the only limiting factor on his career.

Thanks Jamo. You put your body on the line week in and week out and got smashed. You were and will always be a great clubman.

You will be missed but never forgotten.

Have a fantastic retirement. I can't wait to hear about what you do next.

I not too long ago considered Jamo our most important player (even over Judd). Great defender and great clubman!!! I will be sad to see him go :(

All the best Jamo. Any chance that he could be retained around the club in coaching/mentor role ???

Thanks Jamo... you carried our defence for years with those dodgy shoulders of yours. You have performed above and beyond your humble introduction at the club (rookie listed) and will be remembered as one of our finest defenders.

Hopefully, you can come to terms with whatever personal issues you have and come back to the club as an assistant coach... or even just as a mentor to the young defenders coming through.

Best of luck for the future.

Class act by Jammo, as was 1AW.
Both contracted for next year but didn't want to hold out for one more pay cheque knowing they couldn't give whats required.

Well played Jammo - have heard many gun forwards interviewed saying he was one of their toughest opponents.

Thanks for your great service and loyalty Jamo. Definitely did the guernsey proud.
This is a great example of a man who gave all he had til there was nothing left to give. Could've left us during the tough times for greater opportunity for money and success but remained loyal and dedicated to Carlton when we needed him most.
Thankyou #40
