Dustin Martin won the Brownlow with 36 votes in a premiership year, next best was Cotchin with 8 votes.
This year Cripps had 45 and Walsh 16, if Brownlow inflation is real AND taking into account the extra game in 2024 that’s on par.
If you’re the dominant midfielder in the team you will get votes. Cripps has wow factor that impresses the umpires. I don’t see why it’s not possible for a team to win a flag with a dominant midfielder

Think Fly struggled at times this year. That's just personal opinion though.
No one mentions Voss and Cripps in the posts and a correlation between winning the Brownlow Medal and Vossy’s coaching. Storm in a teacup.
Cripps obtaining 45 votes is partly a function of mediocre list management, mostly Cripps is pretty good
So same as the Pies then, Daicos getting 2/3s more votes than the next best
Pretty much. Can't see them winning another flag any time soon either.

I am very happy to see Voss out on a training mission himself and I’m pleased the club is enabling it.
I’ve been critical of Voss and the club for not doing this earlier.
Hodgson has had a long career in management at the elite level and hopefully Voss can take something away from the trip

He struggled for the same reasons we did, lack of availability of a lot of talent…take a large chunk of elite talent out of any team week after week and ninety nine times out of a hundred the same thing will happen.

I know Aph, but I’ve only ever used the app for the last fifteen years…and only visit BF on my mobile. It’s way too hard to read in a browser on the phone

I use the Chrome app on my iPhone & iPad & it works fine.
Give it a try & see how you go for now until the issues with the BigFooty/Tapatalk app are resolved.
