What is the next move on Mick?

I am so upset with the way Ratts and now Mick have been treated by our fan base, in some respects we're as bad as Richmond fans in that regard.

I understand the need for fans wanting to move Mick on, but some of the levels of vitriol and abuse directed at him (not here but at games/talkback radio/social media etc) is very unpleasant.
Same thing happened to Ratts.

I think Mick will leave the club with foundations to build on, and I'll always cherish that 2013 finals win against the Tigers.

Ratten was treated appallingly and I think only now people are starting to look back on it and realise how awful they were.

Reminds me of a famous piece of graffiti many many years ago outside a church in Hawthorn.

A big sign out the front had "what would you do if Jesus came to Hawthorn ?" emblazoned on it.

Some wag wrote underneath "move Hudson to centre-half-forward".

He's at the Swans and I'm assuming you have some knowledge of his playing background.

Oh god. I was referring to the fact that people weren't answering thy's original question about Dew's credentials because they said it doesn't matter he won't be coaching us anyway.

if they decide not to renew Mick's contract but then appoint someone they already sounded out without going through due diligence and seriously considering multiple candidates, I will throw all my toys out of the cot and it won't be pretty! have we learned nothing about how to succeed in the modern era?

If Micks contract is not renewed there will be an independent panel to choose our next coach

Agreed, and its happening to Mick as well. Wanting a coach replaced is one thing, but they are decent, caring family men as well. It really upsets me reading about Nanette Malthouse being reduced to tears because of the media's witch hunt for Mick, and now unwilling to leave the house to go to movies or a restaurant with Mick, people don't realize the personal toll that coaches face.
