But, mind you I heard that a couple months back and have heard nothing since.

They need to pick up a quality inside ball winner, it's where they struggle.
They have a lot of talent, but not enough hardness.

1. Yinnar (not far of last year and have added Swift and Andrew)
2. Traf
3. Newb
4. Boolarra (Something going on if the best player in Gippsland (Emery) is on board)
5. Mirboo Nth (Ageing)
6.Thorpy (Added half a dozen quality players, but coming from a long way back)
7. MEast (Gormy looking good again)
8. YYN (Too many good players headed to Morwell?)
9. Yarra
10. Hill End (Mass exodus?)

Just 8 weeks to go...

Is it just me or thorpy even getting near the top 5 a joke...... So called ex afl player going there yer right and recruited A dud from alberton league ..... But the 7 foot Irish guy they have sounds interesting.... Extremely good river dancer by the sounds of it.... Another year of spud picking for the boys I guess!!!!!!

Thorpy should supply all visiting teams with laundry detergent to wash the red dirt off the white shorts Down Traf way we have heard plenty.....but we're not worried, half a dozen new blokes but they'll still need 18 to compete with us The thought of playing on Dean Polo has got me and Sweno chomping at the bit to play agasint 'Tipdale'.

Found all this stuff wildly intersting to read so i thought id join in and have a go!
I have heard around the town that both nebworough and trafalgar are lookng the goods at preseason training! Any tips for guys going to have a breakout season this year?

2013 ladder to look like this??
1. Traf (so much list depth of quality players)
2. Yinnar (always consistent and perform when it matters)
3. Newborough (credit where credits due, they still have some decent players)
4. East (Always threatening)
5. Thorpy (a few green bills have been spotted on the players dinner plates)
6. Mirboo (age factor will wear them down)
7. Boo'we never make finals 2 years in a row'larra
8. The rock (to many good players gone to Morwell)
9. Hill End (actually couldnt name one decent player up there)
10. Yarra (have Pavey coaching them...enough said)

Baysixer can i ask, what makes Yinnar so high on your prediction after a down year last year? have they made any big moves?

Yinnar lost the prelim last year by a couple of goals. Wouldn't call that a down year.

Who knows with yarragon they have had great juniors the last few years if old man paves can keep them there with the few they have recruited let's hope the can be competitive .... As for mirbo to old to slow!!!

Traf and yinnar big movers, the talk has stopped from Thorpy, newbourough going to stretch the budget even further?

if you check out the mid gippy website theirs a section with clearances, although doesnt get updated every day.

Jamie Hines' training commitment to Traf is second to none. Last week he missed a session with the coach and the boyz and made up for it by running to Moe and back to Traf (No word of a lie) As for Cohan Lee I can positively 100% assure everyone on this forum that he will be playing at the home of premierships this year, wearing the number 91. If he dosen't I will jump off the top of one of the light towers at Traf footy fround....

I was simply stating their best players and thought I should mention Lee Clarke as noone seems to know who he is or where he plays.....he is very underrated in my books! I'll let everyone know how to play on a beat Stana?...He is simply a confidence player who unless the ball is being delivered to him lace out will crack the sads with his teammates and not put in​

Dean Gray advised me to 'wear him like a glove', and not allow him to drop back into the space 30mtrs from goal Great advice from a guy who had only 13 goals kicked on him last year......and noone sings his prasies We love you at Traf Deano!​

Madtigerfan....you obviously don't know your own teammates very well. Sherriff is a damaging left footer and is one of the fitest players we've played agaisnt.​

Agree there, Dean Gray underrated! Would live to see him and Ashley Payne play on each other for 4 full quarters!
