Twice a week 7.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
I've watched a few now and the structure and is on the improve.

Uses a number of panellists, most appear to be Herald Sun affiliated
Jay Clark
Sam Landsberger
Scott Gullan
Glenn McFarlane
Lauren Wood
Jon Ralph

The lack of ex-AFL players is what gives this show a bit of difference

I actually don't mind it, they waffle on a bit but the lack of fox and afl players as you say is a blessing.

Blinky Bill (Jay Clark) is a bit off putting but in general I like it.

Yep as a poster said on another thread. Feels like this is what 360 should be.
The talk the other day about the reduction in indigenous players was pretty good.

It's a good show that has a number of things going for it:
• Only 30 minutes instead of an hour
• A host that's able to keep things moving yet still adds to the conversation
• Enough panelists to rotate through so the show doesn't feel stale
• Barebones production; no distractions, to the point
• They just talk about the footy news and not themselves

Plenty of suggestions on the Kayo thread on Whirlpool.

Watching Midweek Tackle this week one of the things that stood out with the panel.

They tend not to interrupt each other or try and talk over each other while talking or making a point

Makes for some easier watching than Footy Classified

They've just announced Midweek Tackle will be on Thursday as well now since there's no more thursday football this season.
Still 1/2 hour show, 6:30 pm instead of 7:30 pm since it doesn't have to follow AFL 360 that night.
Thoughts?

Its offering a fair bit so far....good move

Both Gullan and Landsberger don't have alot of positive things to say about Hawthorn so don't rate them as balanced journos. Don't think I've ever seen Gullan write or talk about us in his whole HS career. Might not mean he dislikes us just has no interest in us as a club. Landsberger takes pot shots from time to time and I find it funny when discussing Bailey Smith

he is very quick to deflect the talk to " He's going to Collingwood" can't bring himself to discuss the possibility he could be Hawthorn bound. Clark is the only one on there who advocates and talks glowingly about us when we come up in discussion.

yeah, first thing they mentioned on 360, and they said they'll show something at the end of the show as well. Foxtel guide still says Midweek Tackle will be on tonight; not sure if it's able to be updated on their end.
Edit: Confirmed it will not air tonight.

Thought the show had been cancelled when it didn't show up in Kayo then came on here and read the news he had been killed in a traffic accident of some type.

Show has done well for my mind. It has prompted me to watch more of AFL360 as a bit of a follow up or lead in, so it might be getting more number son both shows
