Whoa, a bit defensive there TD, I think AG was saying lower as in closer to 1.

As for the top 10 I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Ablett won't be 1.

I hope so - I guess I got this wrong again.

I have Pendlebury between 10-15 as he was 20 at end of last season

Damn, I was hoping Hodge would make the top 50 somewhere. One of these would have to miss then.......good work Mike. Pffft.

Goodwin, TOP 10, seriously, have I been watching a different game or something, he isn't even Adelaide's best or most important player.

Cooney had a shocking start to 2009, and wouldn't be in my top 15, just isn't consistent enough.

this is mike sheean so anythings possible.

so if he isn't in he top 10 does that make him not in the top 50? (cooney im talking about)

Yeah Swan is at 35, but the list isn't the BEST players, it is who he thinks will be the best come round 22, going on pre-season, potential and prevoius form.

Bolton is a gun full-back, really underrated, to think he will have a stellar year is nothing extraordinary.

The list is pretty good, of course people will have different opinions, but take it for what it is, an opinion piece.

I got a really good laugh out of this today... Paddy Ryder as good a footballer as Dids and Higgins

Despite his finals performances Leon is one of the 50 best players in the game. Leon > Aaron Davey, Lecras

Dane Swan at 35 -

This is below par even for Mike

So it seems then that based on preseason, potential and previous form, Mike thinks Swanny is going to do his knee about 1 minute into the round 1 clash with the Dogs if that's his rating.
