I'm pretty sure that being their coach he would be contracted. That makes it illegal for him to play on a permit for another side. He may have jumped ship by the sounds of it. Can anyone from euston shed some light on this

What a weekend of footy, Werrrimul wins a game, Meringur upset euston and Bambill win a tight one over golly. Any info on how these games panned out guys. In ours we led for all but about 10 minutes but it was really tight in the last 10 mins or so. Neyland got 3 weeks for a late punch in the last quarter.
Interesting that Cardy slipped up against the pies on their own turf, were there ins and outs that influenced the result or did the better team on the day win? I thought Gol Gol would beat Bambills based on playing them both but seems i was wrong.

well it looks like cardross are having a rough trot at the moment, injuries are hittin hard streatching the playing group. and having had three gut wrenching losses this year, the whole club is feeling the pinch. good to see the roos get up and knock of bombers looks like all thier hard work is paying off, and what do you say for Bambill....... they got awsome players on the field and a lot waiting in the wings, and a good commitee behind it all.

just hope that all sides have fun this year, as this is the main aim for the millewa league.

i hear abit of player unrest from a certain "top of the ladder club"
Not happy about training on Sunday?

Also what is happening at Bam$bill when they cant supply a football for their home game?
Really poor effort.

Please do elaborate for us. Also when we played Werrimul they supplied a footy that had at least been used for a couple of games. It was terrible. I heard that Bambill used a yellow footy but it was a new one.

Bamb$ll had to used Cardross's yellow warm up footy.
No -one on the gate early , no new line markings on the ground , and NO FOOTBALL.

Huddo from Cardy heading to Golly. Would be hard pressed to get a game there you would imagine. Also think he was a former Captain of the club, big move.

Spot on there. I can't see where he would get a gig, maybe back up on the pine. Must be something going on out there, other clearances have been lodged aswell

Would be good to see the Demons get in there as they do have a good running side with some youth!! :thumbsu:

Well i was at the worst ground to watch the best side flog the pies in the most one sided game i have ever seen. On paper i would have to say that Bambi$$ is the best side i have seen running around in the Millewa ever. Each line is strong with very little passengers at all. Also i see box head has been cleared back??

I also noticed that Ben Parker has lodge a clearence to Gol Gol. What is it that the best sides keep getting stronger??

Also i hear that the league meeting voted on the Final venues and that the lake will again hold the Grand Final which is great news!!:thumbsu:

I hear a couple of clubs are not happy which is tuff luck as the league is the Millewa and while ever that is it should be played out the lake!! :D

this weekend will see some good games on both ends of the ladder...

Top of the table clash between gol gol and Bambil... very tough clash... my thoughts wil be Gol Gol just to knock of the saints.

also the bottom of the ladder battle between the magpies and the lions... Cardy should get the win, but neither team want to loose...

good luck to all..

Rocktosser if Werrimull end up dead last i will do a lap of the trotting track stark naked for the community to see!! Not a great sight..:D

I dont know where you get your logic from but obviously dont follow the league or hate Werrimull. If they dont finish in the top 4 i would be disappointed.:(

what time are you going to start? ;)

Been very quiet on here this year, would have nothing to do with most pre/early season posters being involved with the bottom couple of clubs would it?
