Same every year, I would like to see a break down of goals kicked against bottom8 teams and top8 teams as I reckon over 40 of those goals are against botoom 8 teams, simply doesn't perform in big games.

He is one of those characters that you love to hate. Hopefully I will have little reason to hate him this Sunday ;)

He has an outstanding goal scoring record over a long period of time now.

It's about time that opposition supporters who hate him [and I completely understand why you would hate him] can at least acknowledge that he's been a very good player in a position where so few players have been able to get even close to matching his consistency.

And I think he's showed with the current injury that he actually does have a bit of courage about him too.

Exactually right, im not one of his biggest fans but he provides the saints with a spark and does do some amazing things

Top 8
15
Bottom 8
39
11 games against top 8
11 games against bottom 8

Just checked the stats and they don't read well for him as I thought, kicks all his goals against poor opposition;

Against Top 8 teams - 18 goals
Against Bottom 8 teams - 36 goals

Against Top 6 teams - 10 goals
Against Bottom 10 teams - 44 goals

certainly not AA as someone above suggested, will be lucky to kick a goal against Geelong

fair enough, but pick three other forwards with a similar goal tally for the year from three different teams and I'd guess that kicking less goals against better teams is par for the course...

Today wasn't against a competitive opponent but he's basically delivered us position in the top four so I'd say he did step up when it counted. Combine that with the injury he's playing with and his small size and it was a very gutsy effort.

FWIW I don't think he's deserving of a spot in the AA team though I'd naturally be rapt if he was recognised.

Anyway, keep it to football guys.

Probly a bit under-rated, but it will be interesting to see how he goes next week. Will probly get Hunt for the day.

Who has the more punchable head between Milne and Medhurst?

7 against Essendon, pivotal against against North Melbourne, Hawthorn, Sydney, Collingwood and Adelaide.

I think a case could be mounted for him to be AA if the criteria was constructing a side that would be the best side if it actually played a game. They tend to pick 3 Big FFs, have midfielders on Forward and Back Flanks, etc. But if you were selecting a proper side then Milne would probably get the spot as best Small forward ahead of Rioli, given Motlop plays as if he was a tall Full Forward

I think Steve Johnson has that sopt covered pretty comfortably. Milne did get dropped mid year remember - Not sure how you can get dropped for being a down hill skier and win AA?

Yeah Im not saying he'd knock Johnson out the side, just that it is possible they'd both fit in. Johnson on a HFF and Milne FP.

Oh and the latter, Bowden was dropped for not being accountable a few years back, came back and won our B&F and AA. And did it all again (minus the dropping) the next year
