The memes are pretty brutal

if humans get effectively vaporised at that depth, how are fish just chillin down there?

Something something, lungs, something something, air pockets

The only less productive week I've ever had was during the Thai cave rescue.

I didn't get a single bit of work done the week before we signed Clarko. I just kept refreshing BigFooty lol

That's not accurate. Nobody would be vaporised but the atmospheric pressure would have a crushing effect. The human body mainly consists of fluids (70%) so therefore it's not really compressible.

Deep-sea creatures have flexible and compressible bodies, which allow them to survive under the intense pressures of the deep ocean. Some deep-sea fish like the anglerfish have bodies that are primarily made up of a gelatinous substance that provides very little resistance to the surrounding pressure.

I hope they do
You hope they spend money on finding out why an untested carbon fiber sub failed?

I think everyone knows what happened

it was an absolute P.O.S design, which in addition was over seen with extreme hubris bordering on blatant disregard for safety.
All in the name of "diversity"
C.E.O didn't want to employ "50 year old white men"..
Because they might actually challenge him and tell him he can't do something or it isn't safe to do something a particular way.
And he would also have to pay them a shit load, compared to a 22 year old.
There...no need to waste millions.
Denial, is not just a river in Egypt.
In summary, that thing made Homers car look good.

It would have had a vaporising effect because it happened instantaneously. If a person were slowly subjected to increased atmospheric pressure, it would have a crushing effect. If it went from ~1 to 6,000 in milliseconds, it's vaporisation. It's like sitting inside an inverse-bomb. Pressure waves from all sides pushing in from all directions.

It's kinda funny that Billy Billionairre and his mates weren't even paying taxes in Canada, US, or France and they're the campaigners that spent millions looking for them.
