Hawks first pick is 16. Assuming Jeff can fudge the books and dodge enough pokie tax to accommodate O'Keefe, then the Hawks next hurdle is the draft pick exchange. That's where we might get involved. Will be an interesting few days.

lol. Sounds good. More realistically Thorp plus pick 16 for pick 6 maybe? The Blues would get the quality young KP forward they need, plus have a top-20 pick. With pick 6, the Hawks will have enough to get O'Keefe.
One word - Judd.
We'd have to offer more than that for both. Hawthorn won't be just letting them sail out the door, they will be compensated or they will remain Hawks.
I would definitely go all out for Thorpe. Come on Blues get it done!
Warnock and Thorpe in trade week would be sensational if we could pull it off.

Bad thing for you guys is Hawks would want pick 6 for Thorp, nothing less.
They might still be very keen on Thornton, if so, Thornton + 2nd rounder might be a chance

With O'keefe coming Thorpe looks like he might get the squeeze or be told he will have to wait for his chance. Hawks supporters say he is being groomed for their backline but in the same breath also saying O'keefe releases Brown to defence so where actually do you reckon he fits in. Carlton thats where straight to chf .
And while were on about Thorpie i put him in the same category as 1AW full pre season 20-21 yrs old should just about be ready to explode. Be nice if its in the old dark NAVY BLUE.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Thorpe has limited, or next to no chance to break into the Hawthorn squad.
That is pretty much spot on, either be a depth player, or start in the 22 each week.
If he was in the draft...he would be Carlton's main priority with pick 6 i feel.
Personally i don't want to trade pick 6, and the club has said that they wouldn't, but you'd be incredibly tempted to do so.
