Ok I saw no thread for it. I assume people are still posting in last year's thread. If mods don't like this, feel free to merge this post in other thread. I'm sure there's enough people here that like this show though.

I'm a bit of a sucker for the drama though I know that it's all fake and these people are given "characters" and all that crap.

Early thoughts - Tyson is clearly the bad guy and him and his sister Amy will probably be the "lowest ever score" they were banging about in week one. It's just set up for that.

The flirting thing is overdone and I feel sorry for Bek as she has obviously been told to be like that.

The pub guys seem like good blokes and I would say them or the "friends" from Sydney will get the "highest ever score"

Finally the midwives from Victoria are a bit annoying won't be sorry to see them go early.

Pretty average score to start with. They usually start with a sub sixty score. I guessed their final score correctly after their main meal - had a comp with BlueBelle - she guessed 65, me 62.

Also nailed almost every judges score too.

Anyway apart from myself, JackNah_8 amd a few others, I don't know if this warrants its own thread. Let's see.

Tyson and Amy are super annoying and, even though they're Queenslanders, hope they bomb out big time. Don't really have a favourite atm. They all seem rather bland so far.

Agreed. They seem a bit up themselves. And the Keith urban fan lost me as soon as he was a Keith urban fan.

Also would it kill them to put some indigenous people on this show? No wonder we as a country have a reputation as being racist..

I only made it through half the season last year but I always get sucked in again at the start.

Didn't mind the midwives, but none of the other teams struck me as being very likeable so far.

The Asian girl looked cute on the ads but that hashtag hands bullshit put me right off. Please tell me they don't do that in real life?

The two BF posters on the other thread completely ruined the blonde 'flirt' for me - finding it even harder than usual to suspend disbelief. That goes for all the teams actually - show seems to get more cliched and caricatured every year.

Yeah same, only watched the ones where Zana cooked at the instant kitchen. Didn't particularly watch the 'challenge' days either, thought they were boring last year.
