I actually liked both MK movies. Cool soundtracks, good action and justice to the characters from the games.... unlike that other mess, Street Fighter, around the same time.
Wouldn't mind seeing a prequel on Sub-Zero and Scorpian's history though.
I caught the first one on Foxtel a little while ago, held up pretty well. I think I still have the VHS of it around somewhere. Downloaded the second afterwards and was very quickly reminded that it truly was as bad as I remembered. Just awful.
There will be a mini-series done based off that clip seen a few months ago though, could be good.

Ive got the first one, as well as Armageddon, on DVD. Perfectly good viewing. Best soundtrack.
