Watching Tony Modra on Open Mike last night got me thinking of the most entertaining players I have seen - whether due to high-flying acrobatics (Modra, Ablett), freakish goal sense (Daicos, Akermanis), sublime skill (D. Jarman, Hird), comic appearance (J. Madden) or cult figure status (Richardson, Wiedemann).

Here's my 22 based on players I've seen (started watching footy in the early 90s). What's yours?

Andrew Lovett and Aaron Davey were two damn entertaining players at their peak.

Say what you will about Cyril, but every time he goes near the ball you can feel the crowd get exited. He should be in their for mine.

Fremantle Dockers under Neesham was the most entertaining style along with the eccentric playing list. plus having up to 7-8 indigenious players in the one team. hard to top

the 80s had some great charactors of the game
