However I don’t think you could name 22 other players in history who would beat them.

Gee stiff for Cable to miss.

Yeah tough to leave Cable out as rover. Walker was a contemporary of his that won 3 Sandovers and Steve Marsh was a bit before them and part of a South Freo team that won 6 premierships in 8 years. Maybe Cable for Cousins, but didn't want to skew too much towards the older generations (plus you can't have enough Bullcreek-Leeming boys in).

Considered including Hayden Bunton Snr & Jnr as well but they were born in Victoria.

I think Bunton Sr is NSW… born and raised in Albury.

And certainly in the conversation to for the best player to ever live.

Enright an emergency ?

Interested to see peoples all time SOO sides. I will attempt Western Australia pre warning there will be bias to the 1985 and beyond players.

Western Australia

Worsfold Glass D Marshall
Mcpharlin Rance J Mcgovern
Cable Black Matera
J Krakeour Kennedy P Krakeour
Lecras Franklin P Farmer

Cox Cousins Fyfe

H Taylor Cripps Kerr Glendenning
H Taylor was ok but......

Queensland's is probably the weakest of the 6 states.

B M. Ashcroft M. Michael J. Harbrow
HB S. Gilbert H. Andrews D. Merrett
C J. Akermanis M. Voss R. Copeland
HF D. Zorko N. Riewoldt G. Crosisca
F D. Hale J. Dunstall C. Cockatoo-Collins
Foll C. Keating D. Beams S. McIvor

Simon Black and Charlie Cameron were born in QLD but recruited from WA.

Who said anything about Woosh....Bluey McKenna trumps Taylor sorry....but nice try 👍
If your trying for Taylor playing fwd then he gets absolutely spanked by Gary Buckenara!
Backline and give it 5 years a new Taylor takes his spot anyway, just cost cutting on locker doors!

I think the other Victorian players under consideration would be - Paul Roos, Peter Daicos, Robert Harvey, Greg Williams, Peter Knights, David Dench, Gary Ayres.

This is a New South Wales side?
Interested to see the all time.

My attempt:

B: D. Rampe, L. Barry, C. Mills
HB: D. Caroll, G. Strang, J. McVeigh
C: S. Crawford, P. Kelly, I. Smith
HF: J. Hird, W. Carey, T. Daniher
FF: T. Hawkins, B. Mohr, L. Breust
R: B. McGregor, L. Hayes, H. Bunton Snr
I: B. Kirk, J. Longmire, N. Davies, B. Brownless
Sub: M.Maclure

Very strong side for a non-football state, especially the forward line (and midfield).

Gulden, Green (maybe Heeney?) to potentially force their way in over the next 5-10 years.
