'I'm Down', just about the only song on which Paul McCartney actually sounded like a rock and roll singer.

What about 'Long Tall Sally'? I know it's a cover but still an awesome performance!

And to a lesser extent, 'I Saw Her Standing There'.

Hear what you say, but to me, 'Long Tall Sally' always sounded like McCartney was pretending to be an off-his-face rocker, in a forced sort of way. Just personal opinion.

Nah I totally respect your opinion there, because you know what, I feel that he does that on 'I'm Down'!! Yet I know people who love that song, and actually I guess it's like the other thread where people are discussing their favourite section of the Beatles career - it's all about opinion!

I voted for Tomorrow Never Knows, but I also love It's All Too Much from the Yellow Submarine soundtrack. Rockin.

its all too much another overlooked harrison song, its really psychadelic and is a real flower power anthem that never got too much attention. his vocals are great on it and the use of the moog is innovative
