How did everyone find the stadium? I thought it was amazing. No lines at all for us. Went into river room which was nice. Was super quick on the train to and from. Really happy all up.

Stadium was sensational.
Getting there worked well.
Getting home took an hour and 10 minutes from siren to the station I disembarked at.
Was pretty much expecting that, Trans Perth will get better at the marshalling of people but all in all a pretty good first up effort.

Only grizzle is nothing to do with the ground and transport , the 4:20pm games are really in a shit time slot, I noticed quite a few families with what appeared to be Primary School aged kids leave at three quarter time.

Agree with the timeslot. You heading north or south? I left 5 mins before the siren went as I had my 8 year old and we had NO line or anything.

I thought it was odd that it was lit up in red at times during the game, I thought they only used the home teams colours to light up the stadium. Not sure why they would bother with the opposition colours?

I think it was for "Red Ink red time".

Amazing stadium.

I have concerns about the escalators down from the top level though, there's not much dispersal space at the bottom and I saw a few times with such an old crowd on the way out that there's a distinct possibility of a crowd pileup as people take too long to move off the escalators at the end.

Agree Quinz noticed that myself and as when I was on the escalator there almost was a series of falls due to a crowd build up at the end of the escalator and being not being able to clear the area and consequently having a consertina affect , a serious human pile up was only averted by pushing ...shunting actually .... people ahead out of the way.

Was in OH&S terminology a serious "near miss incident".

Please can they dial down langdon at the breaks. Waiting at the bar it was like he was standing along side me shouting in my ear.

The volume that he comes over at is a major pain in the arse at the best of times and I had hoped that the role he does would have been left at Subiaco.

Might have to have people getting people to move after the exit like at the underground stations or slow them down a little ?

Only issue I had was the exit doors of the stadium are not open, I walked down the stairs from level 5 following the signs which said way out and got to the bottom and the doors are locked. So had to walk all the way back up to level 5 to find another way out. Apparently only certain entrance points are open before and during the game? Was just going out for a dart and have now found the route out for the future but still found it bizarre not all doors are open.

No replays were due to a technical issue, but I think it was to give umpires some leeway because I think the crowd would've turned on them a lot earlier if we had replays.

That corporate box looks out-****ing-standing holy shit. Would love to get into a corporate box at this stadium.

I thought the escalators down were shocking, they are seriously a hazard. You're not getting anyone down there quickly. There are staircases also that can be used but people weren't being shown where they were and where to use them, I think there were teething issues but people like me who had never been there before will eventually figure out how to get around

We are so disappointed, our footy day is in ruins. We are 31 year members and original note holders. At Subi we had seats on the end of a row , on second tier in the wing Fabulous experience every time we watched a game win or lose by the Eagles . At Optus we are in level 1 at the back , we dont see any sky and we dont see either huge score board( largest in South Hemisphere !!!) and the TV's are to the side of us so we cant see them . The view of the game isn't a patch of what we had hat Subi. Who was the idiot who said there are no bad seats at the new stadium. Don't even ask about the disaster trying to get home and stuck in an overcrowded train carriage for 30 minutes before it even left the stadium train station, YUK YUK
