It's been suggested drugging women in Yeppoon with a population of under 8,000, is a weekly occurrence.

The assistant health minister posted on social media that she went to the police and the hospital on 28 April after she was allegedly drugged and assaulted on a night out in her electorate of Yeppoon, a town in central Queensland.

"Tests at the hospital confirmed the presence of drugs in my body which I did not take. This substance impacted me significantly," she said in a statement.

Hopefully it will be easy to catch anybody regularly drugging women in a town of 8,000.

Our friends living there said out of 20 friends they were the only couple still together.

I stayed there for two nights late November 2022 on the way home from my daughter’s cricket carnival in Mackay. Bottle shops everywhere and I noticed how dodgy it was. We stayed close to the place we were staying.
