Mullets of the 70's & 80's

I would say the greg Anderson, Tom Alvin and John Platten ones were not mullets. They just have long hair

Anderson's was. To have it that long down the back yet trimmed & styled at the ears & fringe is definately mullet territory. Agree with you with regards to Alvin & Platten though.

Some people need to get a clue on what a mullet is. Some of these blokes just had long hair.

A mullet is "business up the front, party up the back". Attend a Port home game for examples.

I agree there's a bit of a grey area here but the fact it's styled & trimmed at the fringe & ears places it in mullet territory for me.

Westhoff's on the other hand is pretty much just normal longish hair.
