Dont think much of this thread in relation to dissecting players who are in fact only young kids trying to do the best they can.By all means have an opinion on men playing senior football-the descions they make, the performances each week etc are there for all to see.As previously mentioned these kids are in a developmental phase and are in a program which will make country clubs stronger if they dont go onto a higher level of football.Unless you are in the inner sanctum who knows what the coaching staff are trying to teach player A at any particular stage.These kids are being the best they can be,that should be applauded not bagged or judged.If you have an opinion on an under 18s kid put your real name on here so others can judge what you have done.Just imagine a young kid trying to make his way in the game,following strict training regimes,diets,weights etc getting on here and seeing people who dont even have the courage to put their own name on here downgrading them.As i said at worst they will return to a club and make it a stronger one.This thread should be full of praise i reckon not negativity.

It is full of praise for all the boys, they are all fantastic players in there own ways.
Switch - you are going to busy if you play morality police on every thread on Big Footy - there are plenty that do criticise players - sometimes quite personally. But I don't think the young blokes on here talking about Dawson have overstepped any mark.

Granted Chands,and your right i dont think they have overstepped the mark...yet.Just reckon the track its heading down could be a dangerous one.As i said if you are going to rank players and talk about defiencies then if they are fellow players put your name next to it and let others do the same to you.As i said these kids should be encouraged never downgraded
Went in to Vic Park and watched him last weekend. Looked very good. Great pace, nice kick on both sides - couldn't work out preferred side but think he's a lefty. His Barnawartha teammate- the 206 cm ruckman, Simpson was probably the standout of the day for the Bushies. Moved around the ground real well early on. Good to see a bloke that size improving that much.
Bottom ager Birthisel looks a prospect too.
Yes Lara is a good young player and the fact you couldn't pick his foot is a testament to the practise he has done, and pure talent, he is actually a right footer. Good to see you give big Daws a rap instead of pick why he won't ruck like some previous comments from others on this thread. Looks like Barny won't see much of the boys this year, which is good.

Very good team. A few thoughts from me.
Hebbard - wouldn't think there's any point in a playing a 19 yr old deep in defence, especially at his size.
Starting a 206 cm ruckman on the bench- What a luxury they've got with McEvoy & Simpson - would stretch sides if they cahnge them forward.
Normington and McIntyre got the class over Morgan as starting on-baller.

Yepp agree with you there but i also think that there class up forward will help show on the score board

very good job on this team...but i would probably have mcintyre and normington starting on the ball and swapping up forward.
Do they have any practice matches coming up? Are the players allowed to play for home club practice matches?

yes they have 2 practise matches to play so im pretty sure they are not aloud to play at there home clubs
how far do you think dashmir is off the starting line up or even bill hicks ive heard bigs things about this boy

All of those boys including Bill Hicks could possibly be playing, i think this year squad (If coaches play them in there right positions) will be a force. i would take 3 out of the 5 (including Hicks) to be 3 emergencys. I think the bottom age boys will find it harder to get a game this year compared to last based on the numbers of the top age boys this year

didnt't actually got to the games myself but from all reports standard was quite good.first game bushies won by about 10 goals to a development squad with barolli, mahoney and normington playing fairly well. in the second NSW/ACT won by about 6 goals with mcintrye and terlich the better players

mahoney an normington did go well in the first game so im told, but in the 2nd game there was no good players at all really, thompson went good down back, but from what i hear theres a few scared young players running around. does anyone know who got cut on the weekend?
Fair team to start with but wouldnt have daniels in team as shouldnt be in the squad. Would play Myles Aalbers in the starting line up as he is a quality player and showed plenty last year. Barolli should be in team..
