Big patty rattray off to echuca united been offered the big bucks. Could be the power forward they need!!!

Has this been confirmed..? I heard recently that big Patty was off to Perth for work.

Also, were the figures posted by MFL Show the payments for both Archard AND Campbell (as in, are they on the same amount..?) If so, it's very close to the figure I also heard for Campo, so perhaps some substance there.

Don't want to burst the bubble but was told over the weekend Rhys was committed to Echuca again. If true I'd be surprised

Don't think it's been mentioned on here yet, but dual premiership coach at heathcote, Brent chapman, is taking the reins at numurkah.. He'd be around 30 & has a good record as a forward/midfielder. Not sure who he's signed up, etc.

So far bringing 2 recruits with him is my understanding. One of these recruits being his younger brother

Rumba in some serious strife too, lack of player interest and struggling to find commitment from anyone wanting to coach

Yeh they would have went well in the GV seeing at one stage that's were they thought they should be

Sorry for failing to keep you up to date MFLshow. But get your facts straight first. Rumba had our coach for probably 2 months now,we're working through our retainment and recruitment like all other clubs, we'll be starting out preseason mid november, and we've got a few good anouncments for the club inthe coming week.

And Sparra just to avoid the the flogging of the same drum, over and over and over again, the the direction of the club had changed in the past 4 years. i think you'll find those involved with the club are quite happy with the quality and professionalism of the Murray Football league. And that although the GVFL was only ever a target to aim for, it might have been alittle abitious, but who knows, had we aimed anywhere else we might have ended up in the PFL or KDFL compitions.

I have no facts to discuss re your current situation, simply bringing up old news after your departure from the CGFL.

Congupna would like to hope they can annouce they have a coach soon with Bullen returning to Melbourne and Tyson Sidebottom from reports, should have signed at Shep Swans on Tuesday night, however there has been a delay in the process. Could he be holding off to see who the coach is, or is he the coach?

Mate so far most of your rumours have had little substance e.g Archard. What about some facts?

W
Sidebottom is a swan he signed last night! Fact
Why would Sidebottom go to the Swans and not united where he was captain? Is there an issue with United or is money too good at the Swans? Seems like an odd decision but I suppose it typifies where country footy is at at the moment. For a well respected player, 3 clubs in 3 yrs doesn't look great!

Can confirm Rhys Archard staying at Echuca...that should be the end of that rumour!:thumbsu:

I suppose you get some right and some wrong Ringo.... It is that time of the year! Mail is mail mate, unfortunetely you will hear some outrageous ones along the way

Hearing Lee James has signed at Tungamah with a few other older heads from Mulwala ? In a replacement coup Chase Strauhorn (not sure of the spelling) has signed along with a few other handy picola league players.

Any word out of Cobram or Barooga people on signings? Barooga were talking up some big names prior to the season finishing however no word? how are Cobram going in their recruit for replacements for Osborne, Boyer and Co?

Nice little anouncenment on 95.3 this morning. . . . . If all goes well I'm predicting the first couple of steps in the right direction for the rumbalara football netball club by announcing Steve Daniel taking up a role in the club (non coaching) as well as an early signing of Justin Murphy, plus at least half a dozen past player returning and a few other recruits in the pipeline that will see us return to being a competitive outfit at the very least.

Congupna lost quite a few I hear. Not only tys and bully. But Shan emmett, reeves, Wellington and list goes on.

Speaking with a committee member from Congupna over the last couple weeks and he informed me the club pleaded with Tyson just to hold off in making any decisions in regards to moving on from the "Road', with a coaching decision immenent. Obviously didn't happen, with the dollars being more lucrative.

Some serious and worry concerns continue to grow for the Red and White army who built on a dissapointing year in 2011, to rise within reach of a finals contention

The bigest problem now is just how many players will Burness take with him to Picola League club Katunga, who have said to have plenty of money to throw around in 2013. Would be a dissapointing scenario for club who climbed to fall short of finals by a 2 games in 2012 to fall back down the bottom.

Other big news, Scott Beattie taking the coaching reigns for the Interleague side for 2013. This surely has to be one of the better decisions the league has made in recent times. Beattie, who is highly respected around the traps, will surely bring back a bit of spirit to what could only be described as insipid peformances in recent times and with no doubt will change the perspective thoughts of players on what it actually means to play Interleague.

Meant to say congupna were 2 wins away from a grand final spot! Worded wrong!

better decisiions your kidding the interleague is a joke the only winner out of this situation is beattie and his future coaching offers. None of the high paid good players want or need to play. the murray league is on a big downhill slide:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Rams have got hold of a few former players. Anthony Bull (overseas), Simon Maher (Colbinabbin), Brett Macdonald (Deni Rovers) and Blair Whelan (Redan). A few more in the works too, which should make up for the loss of Lachy Small and Todd Gallagher.
