Also believe The Lord of contested marks is in for a big game (nick Robertson)

The big centre half forward has recovered too, he's worth checking out johnnie boy.

Should be a ripper.
Bk Finley won't break that long drought until they can use the ball better and find better structure to utilise their most talented list for 25 years. At the moment I don't believe there in the hunt !

Agree , skills are not great and not sure what the game plan is. Would like too see a full strength side at finals time , think they will still get the job done.

Reid Crowe up to it no problems at all. Will poll the most votes in the O'Dwyer medal or go very close. Absolute gun

Good luck to everyone involved in the MFL interleague teams competing today.

Well done to the league on the effort they have put in this year. In particular Darren Jackson who looks to have done an enormous amount of work and many Kms to attend games. Being new to the league I have really enjoyed the team of the week to get up to speed on players around the league.
Of course also well done to all players who made themselves available for selection whether they made the team or not. For success you need competition for spots and players keen to have a crack.
Awesome work so far now to finish off with a win!!!

Levi middleton is stiff not to get a gig in the seniors mfl team this week. Very underrated, robbed today. Should have got best player in u/18s. Will rack up a fair few votes in the b&f.
Marcus Jackson has gone backwards this year, apparently loves the party life too much.
Reid Crowe still an absolute gun, bagged league b&f if he didn't get suspended.

Cats have a fair few out, don't count them out at this stage.

Webby wasn't a standout today, could be shut down easily. Echuca definitely aren't the best side.

Tylor Amor Beale is out with a groin injury and I heard beattie is out for the year as he's getting a foot op? Is this true?

Don't worry about Jacko he is a gun!! Won't hurt him to miss!! He has rep'd the league on numerous times.
Crowe has had a great start to the year by all reports.
There were a lot of player that deserved to play inter league but that happens. We had a win that's 2 years in a row. A lot of leagues aren't doing the same.

Been quiet on here again boys........ Congrats to all the people involved with interleague this year......
But we're back to the home and away, and I want to talk tips.

Rumba vs Purps- Rumba has been hit with injury at the moment, and need to manage it best we can. Our record at Nathalia isn't great at all and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes the other way but I'm picking Rumba to win in another close one. Under 2 goals

Cats vs Hawks - Match of the round for mine. i think the rain will hamper what should be a highly skilled game and bring each team back to level footing. Without having seem either team play yet, Hawks to win buy 3 gaols.

Rams vs Pies - I think the Rams will push Moama right to the line. With a great leader in Froggy, their too proud to have it any other way. But I cant see them stopping Jones or Firebrace. Moama to win by 4 goals

Tigers vs The Road - Tigers clearly in a rebuild/tuff year. They new it was going too be tuff before the season started but I doubt they guessed it would be this hard. Congupna to win by 10 goals

Blues vs Eagles - Numurkah to date I think has been the most disappointing team so far this year. They performed well last year and looked to have set them selves for a really promising year this year but lived up to it yet IMO. United by 5 goals

Tonny vs Lions - Mul seem to be getting better week by week. They've surprised me with how they had lost so many and yet still managed to cover them. Mulwala by 8 goals

What do you reckon boys??

Nathalia just too good for us on the day. We started off well, but once our ruckman went down we battled...... It was game played in a great spirit but, with the purps calling the game reconciliation round. It was a great gesture and well respected by all.
Good little atmosphere in the rooms afterwards too;)

Not happy you didn't get a game champ?

Took the words out of my mouth!!
Nathalia were fantastic when the conditions changed, sad to say put boys didn't do the same!! But when it's a close game with to competitive teams, that's what happens. Have heard the first half was a great sceptical to watch. A big thank you goes out to the Purps for recognising the occasion and payed respect for indigenous round. Thumbs up Purps

From a personal point of view glad we were able to do it, I have never been involved in something like that before, so was glad I was able to be a part.

rumba1 we seemed to adapt to the rainy conditions a little quicker than your boys but as goodgolly24 said when your ruckman went down it allowed us to get on top, as I think we kicked 2-3 quick goals after he went down and then the rain came.

Was certainly one of the better games that we have played against each other (not just because we won either)

The Deni Rams are a very very good side. I think they will make the finals and push a lot of teams. On there day I think they can beat anyone. Really good bunch of kids. Froggys got them going in the right direction that's for sure

Just gotta say it guys grat win RFNC.
Considering were both sides have been the last couple of yrs good to see the hawks and rumba successful.

It was great to get away with the win, though I don't think either team played their best it was a great contest. But how good are the Barooga facilities?? Surely worthy of a grand final in the very near future??
For what it's worth I think Barooga are top 2 easy come end of season, the little bloke they've got up forward is a GUN! Rea the ball better then anyone on the day. Also does anyone know how many the hawks had out?

Not sure if anyone has noticed. But the next three rounds are doozys given the current ladder positions. Anyone keen to predict what the ladder will look like after round 11?

Current ladder:
Echuca 24
Barooga 24
Mulwala 24
Rumba 24
Finley 24
Nathalia 20
Moama 16
Deni 16

R9:
Barooga v Echuca
Rumba v Mulwala
Nathalia v Finley

R10:
Mulwala v Barooga
Rumba v Echuca

R11:
Echuca v Mulwala
Finley v Rumba
Nathalia v Barooga

I tossed a coin for each of these games and assumed the bottom four would get beaten by the top 8.

So my R11 ladder based on the toss of a coin is as follows:
Rumba 36
Echuca 32
Barooga 32
Finley 32
Deni 28
Mulwala 24
Nathalia 24
Moama 24

Should be an interesting 3 weeks.

Thats possibly the most exciting draw in country vic rite now.
