You would hope that Barooga have taken notice of the neighbours over the Murray who have built from juniors .
Barooga has been linked to trying to buy a flag rightfully or wrongly for 20 plus years which can’t be good for kids coming through or gaining sponsorship .
I was told recently the Trengrove was quite undisciplined in a game which amounted to multiple 50’s ?

Continually boom and bust for Barooga. Have had so many recruits come and go. Just like a wind change!
They need to not just look at Cobram but also some of the Picola clubs that have been very strong/ successful for a period of time.
In regards to Trengove, you are correct Roar about the game. In his defence injuries and playing in a poor team have probably been frustrating for him although you expect better from someone that has played at the elite level.

Will be interesting to see how he goes as coach. Having a former AFL player as coach doesn't always lead to the holy grail and sustained success. In fact, it often heads the other way!

Loves running around giving lip to blokes because he played AFL...

So what’s happening with the Murray league? With half the clubs in NSW it’s looking increasingly likely that the season is cactus. What are some options to get the season completed?
Another week of lockdown so the first week of finals are done

Have to feel for Tonny. Had a breakthrough Season in 2019 then built nicely 2020 doesn't see a ball bounced and then looked red hot to bring this one home and it gets called off. Hopefully they can keep their list together and have another bang at it next year. I'd expect Congupna & Cobram to be pretty strong again next year and talk is Numurkah are trying to drag some locals back to bolster their list back up. Moama and United to have New Coaches who will have plenty of work to do to get things rolling again for those Clubs.
