The big suprise packet IMO ;)

Played every game with at least 6-8 BOG's and rated in top six 14 out of 18 games and 35 goals, gotta be a big chance :thumbsu:

He will win our club B&F by a mile.

So who do we think will win the club B & F's if they haven't already been won.

Well done souts, should poll well in the league B & F too

Will he go around again next year? word is he will move to Melbourne for uni if so big loss.(unless he decides to travel back). As an outsider that seems to be a big problem in Deni at the moment the lack of jobs for the young guys. Does the club have anything in place to try and keep the young guys around.

League vote count should be interesting

Hockey certainly in the mix but Bongetti had just a good as season

Would think
Hueston, N. Gemmill, S. Robinson, Souter and Wellington others to have a chance i would think

The Toc and Bar boys may take to many votes off each other

On another subject
Numurkah's first home was a huge success, great facilities and impressive crowd.
Have heard varying reports regarding the state of the Numkurkah deck
can anyone shed some light on what the surface was like?
Have heard it wasnt up to scratch!!
Thoughts

Agree Bongetti will take votes of Hockey and did they win enough games for either to poll enough votes??? Would imagine Mark Brown would poll the most for Numurkah however after last year's farce who knows.... nothing against Harrison or Warnett both high quality players but it was a joke that Brown didn't poll till about the 2nd half of the year.

As for the facilities and crowd they were fantastic... the ground however wasn't the worst I've played on in the Murray league however it clearly wasn't up to scratch in places.. should be spot on for next year though.

Shannon Emmet played well for the road and could be a chance for the Medal from the 3 times I've seen him play...

Wants to keep playing. So hopefully he does! Shame he didnt to play TAC last year

When is the league B & F count?
Would Jarrod Kelly from Tocumwal be a chance? In the games I've seen him play this year he has dominated.

Yeah a very handy player, may have been slipping under the guard of some sides throughout the year, with sides trying to stop Parsons, Marshall and Bartlett. He was the only player we tagged on the weekend and he was still in the best couple on the ground.

It will be a big loss for Tonny if Jordon decideds to play down thier in melb... He seems like a loyal man to tonny, Jamie Atkinson for us went off to Uni this year and he found it hard very hard with his study commitments and the travel, but made it back every week but one so, it sonds possible:thumbsu::thumbsu:

May have misread something somewhere Rumba1, Jordan isnt heading off to Melbourne as far as I know. Someone mentioned about Lloyd from Deni being in Melb next year.

yea that is correct i got mixed up in the posts, thanks for that Hank, then it is even bigger ask for deni trying to keep thier player.

Yeah, big problem for us, but confident we have a tight group that wants to keep playing together. He is defini
tley a good chance for a medal in league count. Top bloke too, real switched on for his age. Think things will turn around for deni holding kids.........If it ever rains

United have a new coach , maybe the worst kept secret in country footy ! a big warm welcome back to former captain Dale ( Ollie ) Reyne who will take on the job . :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Bad move...has cost you plenty..$30,000.00 is what i here, my sources are very good. Mr M P of united also needs to stop bagging other clubs within the vicinity of them...especially players who have signed at their own clubs and are now out of reach for united to poach...Can't see to many players going to united when the coach has allegedly taken all the coin!!!

get out from under your rock.... all clubs would be paying more than 30,000 a year so there will be money left for other players. well done to united for being able to get the services of a good player

Would have thought $30,000 reasonable for a playing coach, he cut us up at Interleague. I hear a lot of ex GVFL players are being paid similar amounts and NOT coaching.

I have to agree with both of you and your comments.;)

Good move from how I see it. Good on United if it nabbed him for $30k (if true). I doubt your sources would be accurate yeehaaaaaaaaaaaa unless Reyne told you himself. As blues_fan pointed out, there are players running around in the Murray Football League who I imagine would be on a similar figure and aren't coaching. There's nothing wrong with a club such as United to be talking to players at clubs around the area to guage their interest in joining the club. It's all part of country football. And I know Echuca FC was chasing Reyne, perhaps the figure they threw at him was similar to that he accepted to coach United...?

And don't you worry, from what I have heard over the last couple of months, United won't have any problems attracting players.
