Happens at most clubs digger that they want to play with mates, think it might hightlight your insecurities at how much money cobram need to spend by highlighting this

how is that AN INSECURITY???
I was just stating that both my boys are going to have another run with COBRAM, Because they both like the club as well as there is not as much POLITICAL crap as was at there previous club.
I'd say there may be a few insecurities elsewhere in the league.

Always a good discussion - O&M traditionally best except maybe last year. The Latrobe Valley League is also very strong.

If the other five clubs offered him money etc well and good. He is apparently considering what to do after Xmas, his call.
If he chooses to stay at Berrigan or move and try a higher standard , good luck to him.

so who are the ins and outs so far from each club.. most clubs would of wanted to have signed a few by now.

Early sign, Nurmurka have lost heaps, Toc, Echuca United, Rumba,and Tongala have picked up alot.

United's kept pretty quite if they have snapped up a few..Tonny's certainly been out there with all there signings in recent months

Souts is that rumours or do you mean people sleeping in the one room? Have not heard this but they are keeping things under wraps at United at the moment.

Are you the Cobram Football Clubs Presidant or Treasurer are you BigKev??????????? I didnt think so,, What are there no other MFL teams spending money on players these days?????

How about Tonny (no offense its good to see that they are getting players) they would have to be spending a fair amount of $$$$$ to get the players they have.. also Echuca United.... So how bout you get over it and move on..........

The boys that have moved to Cobram all followed the one person there so they could all play together as they are all close mates.. Im telling you that the money wasnt the thing that got them there........GO TIGERS

Went back a few pages and couldn't see their names mentioned, but apologies if it's old news, Yarra recruits Nick Tassel and Adam Svarc have signed with Cobram..

Tassel is a quality on-baller who was highly rated at O&M level, uses the ball well and runs all day. Svarc has been riddled with injuries, but if he gets his body right he's an awesome ruckman, about 2m tall, who is very courageous and taps the ball well.

And Souts, don't be surprised if you're on the money regarding the 3 Rochy players heading to Echuca United, heard they're likely to sign after xmas..

All mentioned would be expecting to be certain starters in the ones, that has to be the only concern that more than half the senior side would be new to the club, but they realistically probably do need that many new faces to push for finals.

No association with Cobram at all footymack, and i see they have picked up a couple from Yarra, just glad that i do not have an association with Cobram because if i was a supporter or player chasing success premierships or whatever with very little local talent would severly diminish the enjoyment for me as a follower of that club. It justs my Opinion Footymack so dont be so touchy if you dont like it go Cry it out and YOU MOVE ON

Gee you seem to no alot about every footballer in every league...... What just because Tassel had a bad game he is not a good player is he??? I seem to remember that Nick Riewoldt didnt have the best game in the 2nd granny this year.. so does that make him a poor player... and not worth a club signing him up... your a tossa...

spot on the money there big kev. i have watch him play abit over there years and would think cob would get players that they need not ones they already have.
seem to have very lttle structure to there recruiting.

Talk of finely signing three big names out of melbourne very good players. Thats not including crawfords crew. they have also signed four ex-locals that also can play, a bloke from barooga and more to come.

All clubs recruit to top up their local talent NT, just like it looks like Finley tried to do last year(your post).Cobram played 3 1st year players plus 4 boys still playing thirds in 2010 and will introduce more this season. With up to 7 guys missing from last years side a few new names will be on the track over summer.
My information is that Cobram , Barooga & Finley chased Tassell and Svarc.
