Isn't he the one who did his knee? I think I'm just about over us drafting injured kids.Any decent defenders? How about that Jackson Trengrove kid?

Jordan plays for North Ballarat Rebels and occassionally for Lake Wendouree. Awesome young player. What the Roughead family likes to spread out. Jarryd from Gippsland area isnt he?
Jordan is listed as being from Ballarat.
I reckon we should recruit Andrew Hooper from vic country. He was awesome in yesterday's match.

By the time the draft is on he would have grown. He's only 17 years old.S2C wrote 10.07.08 12:27
Sorry Suzi, standing at a mighty height of 172cm, I think not. In the AFL size DOES matter.
Struth, if we draft him we really will be a Tassie team....2 rougheads!

In the past the Vic teams have been accused of playing more physically mature bodies, compared to WA and SA who look at draft potential.
Was this case, seeing that the Vic teams dominated, or is the talent pool in Victoria clearly better?
was at TD on Wednesday but could not get my hands on a guide for the games.
The talls in the game looked to be the standouts.
I was very impressed with a small hardnut for the vic metro. HE was wearing the number 6, Is it Banner?? Although we already have a stacked midfield i wouldn't mind seeing this kid develop in the hawks colours.
Any one know who the number 6 for the metro was???
You may be thinking of Ayce Cordy, 202cm injured at the moment, but considered quite a young player.jordan lisle isnt a bad player (not exceptional), but i believe he is father-son eligible for footscray? i think anyway.
I like your thinking Nightwolf. The Hawks should gamble a bit and try and upgrade our first round pick in order to get Hurley. Players like Campbell Brown have really improved their speed over the years, so with the right training, Hurley may improve his initial acceleration capability.Ive got doubts on Hurley. Hes a little immobile. If you see him in person, hes a massive lump of a lad. I think his strength is the fact that he can read the contest so well. I also think his speed isnt quite there to mix it with the best forwards. But then all you have to look at is Jay neagle. I saw that bloke as an 18 year old and i honestly think he was the most immobile player ive ever seen, and now Essendon have trimmed him down and apparently he kills it at the sprints etc. down there.
The upside for Hurley is that hes already built for a key defensive role, rather than bulking up a heck of alot, he probably needs trimming down and more of a tone about him.
Very Rutten like. Will probably be a good player, but theres work that has to be done. I still think hes a safer pick than naitanui however. One on One he is very capable.
Now, on to us, we should be all over Lisle. Perfect player for us. Backline, great hands, throw him forward, can kick a goal. Really think he'll be around at pick 16 and we should take him and keep him at CHB. Groom him, Nathan Brown style. I think he has the tools to be a very good backman. Hurley is obviously the best backman due to the runs he has on the board, but this is the next best option IMO.
i wish i was as good as mitch marsh who had a total of 0 possessions, 1 touch (throw) and didn't come within five metres of the ball at any stage bar the stage when he threw it in the 4th quarter.
