Hey friends. I thought I would provide some context behind my entry because without it, it might look a little bland and uninspired. When researching Mount Isa, its history and topography really interested me. When you search Mount Isa on Google Images, you'll find plenty of different photographs but nearly all feature these two large towers (I assume they're used either for fuel or mining but I'm not too sure what they're called!)
I was originally going to use the two towers as "braces" by having separate panels on the left and right side of the jumper, but I wanted to play on the really cool red/white hooped design of the left-sided, smaller tower. Essentially my design is this tower on the blue/grey sky that you see above. My clash and heritage designs (which you will see in due time) also draw inspiration from this.
Hopefully this clears some things up, also just wanted to say that the standard of entries is extremely high and it's a pleasure to be a part of this comp.

Correct. I also felt that the black balanced out the guernsey better, rather than blue, red or white.
I will also announce that I was the arseh*le that held up the comp! So sorry! I was quite busy IRL and was struggling to create this guernsey but thanks to some support from lmach and E92_ I was able to make what was, amazingly, my first proper design in over 18 months (and my first on Photoshop!)
