Comp won't be starting till October-November*, I'm doing it this early to give everyone ample time to get their entries in.

How bidding will work this season:

  • Everyone from last season has first choice.
  • People from last season can use their current team or change their location, name or colours.
  • People that had a team in a certain location last season will get priority for that location over people that had a different location last time.
  • Teams only allowed in Australia and New Zealand.

VIC - 3 teams with at least one Melbourne based team.
WA - 2 teams
NSW - 2 teams
NZ - 2 teams

SA - 2 teams
QLD - 2 teams
TAS - 2 teams
ACT - 1 team
NT - 1 team

Second 3 Team location will be decided on popularity.

How your bids should look like:

Primary option:
South Australia
Location: Adelaide
Nickname: Heat

Secondary option:
Queensland
Location: Gold Coast
Nickname: Sharks

Tertiary option:
New Zealand
Location: Auckland
Nickname: Eels

Feel free to ask me anything about the comp.

*Possibly earlier if I get all the entries in before the cut-off date.

Cool mate, looking forward to half the entries coming on the due date anyway

Bass Strait will not be returning in any way next season. New team, new colours, new opportunities

I always found it sort of amusing that a team could be represented by a body of water :D

Meanwhile, the Mount Isa Miners have built a strong legacy in the NAFL and will be returning yet again.

ASP will return- hopefully I can come up with a new twist to the chevrons this season otherwise you'll be seeing something very different to last season.
