Natanui? Really?

Thats not his fault. He is clearly our best player and tried his heart out in pretty much every match including the losses and tried to inspire the rest of the group by leading by example- which is what makes a good captain. On top of that he was named Best captain by the AFLPA so yeah...
Glass lead a club with just as many injuries to 5th spot. What's your point? Best player doesn't mean best captain!

Oh another thing, people bring up hit outs to advantage as a favourable statistic for Nic Nat. What many fail to consider is that he rucks more the half the time against second stringers rather than the opposition's first ruck.
no he doesn't. He's West Coast's number 1 ruck. He starts every quarter on the ball.

The fact you don't know that really compromises your opinion on the matter.

What people like yourself fail to realise is that Naitanui is West Coast number 1 ruckman and rucks against the number 1 ruckman from the opposition more than Cox does. People need to open their eyes and stop going off of past reputations.

Um, he starts every opening bounce, and also probably well more than half of all centre bounces. Do the opposition put their second stringers on at those moments is it?

He's the most feared ruckman in the game for other teams, that can be seen by the work that goes into himcomoared to every other ruck.

I believe Naitanui was worthy but not as a no.1 ruckman.

Natanui to bench, Cox to ruck, Pendles out and Pavlich FP would have been obvious choice.

It wasn't the most controversial selection though. Glass was lucky to get in...and then...was named captain...WTF???

Why would Cox be the no.1 ruck when Nic Nat has been the no.1 ruck at west coast all year? Every week we line up with cox in the forward pocket and Nic Nat on the ball

selectors said pavlich missed out because he played half season in mid field, nic nat plays half every game in the ruck, he still gets in.
their justification for not including Pav was ridiculous. He had very similar results as Hawkins despite playing much less up forward. He also contributed in the midfield. If you were playing a match, you'd choose Pav every time.

If Nic Nat is really your number one ruckman, then how does he spend so much time in your forward 50? Cox is consistently better than Naitanui and it seems only West Coast supporters that believe he was a worthy selection this year.
