It's only a matter of time until he flogs him too.
I wasn't happy about it but we did get a good deal for him getting pick 21 which got us Hugh Goddard, who will probably be better than Turncoat Goddard.
Also Stanley is injury prone and inconsistent and he went off injured at 3/4 time tonight, probably one of the reasons St Kilda cut him loose.

Like two weeks ago when Naitanui had 17 disposals, 36 hitouts and 2 goals, and Stanley had 5 disposals, 4 hitouts and 0 goals?

In Plugger's defence, those 5 disposals surely must've been the 5 greatest disposals in VFL/AFL history, whilst Nostatsanui had 17 handballs to a stationary Matt Priddis.

Sarcasm aside, Naitanui was tapping to a Brownlow medallist and star studded midfield while Stanley was tapping to a bunch of plodders- he was probably scared that they'd just turn the ball over.
And he only played half a game.
Rhys' 2.5 quarters was better than any full game NN has played.

Agreed, I think he'll be an important part of Footscray's VFL side in the years to come. He'll really fill the void left by Liam Jones the superstarI'll be laughing in a few years when he is full forward in our grand final winning team.

All clubs make these horrible decisions from time to time. Dropping Stanley was the first step to fixing it, but he needs to be delisted at years end.
The frustrating thing is, this one didn't even require hindsight. Trading pick 21 for Rhys, just like paying Vickey or Mayne $500,000 a year, was a horrible idea from the day it was suggested, to the day it inevitably fails.
