Anyway, hoping for a second rounder for Freeman. Not confident. If we get Treloar and Aish I'll be over it though. Even Treloar.

(If only people like this joker could relax and stop with the anger and be happy that Treloar will be running around in black and white next year. Poor post to avatar here)

I'm hoping for a 1st or equivalent talent.

Likely we end up with a 2nd, which is a clear win to St.Kilda.

I hope the club starts targeting their youth after this.

I got this when it was released (still have it at my mum's house I think), great book.

I wonder if we can push Stkilda for possibly 2 second rounders 2015 and 2016 or possibly a second rounder and a third rounder?

Agree, seems to me that he just wants to walk into a side and not prepared to work for it.

Yeah, I wouldn't except a 3rd rounder.
I'm sure I saw a post above that said we should accept a pick in the 40's... but can't find it now. (although that may have been about Seedsman)

My response is the same:
You need to consider that clubs usually don't use all of their draft picks... mostly you just take the 3, maybe a 4th pick. Which means that the later you get in the draft, the more useless a pick becomes.
For guys like this - I reckon a 2nd round pick is the ballpark figure, and I don't think a 3rd round pick is gonna be enough of a use to us. If that is all a team is offering, then I don't think that is enough and I would send him to the PSD.

Listening to Ahmeet Bains today on the radio, I got the feeling that they were hoping to use 2 nd round picks on both Carlisle and Freeman. This years or next. Hopefully he and Hine can come to an agreement quick smart and Hine gets his choice of which one he wants!
 
Well Freeman may have been right after all.
With Trealoar and now Aish probably at the Pies next year thought,'no room for me', I don't want to try and force my way into the team as I may not be good enough, know I will walk into Saints team so see you later.

How the f*** do they expect that they Essendon to cop a second rounder for Carlisle? He has a shit attitude but I'm a massive wrap for him. Anything less than a pick 10-15 and Essendon are being stuffed.

He's also saying Carlisle is worth the same as Freeman. No wonder Essendon supporters aren't happy.
 
Whilst I'm not keen on Hawks getting Carlisle and gunning for 4 straight premierships, the fact they've thrown their hat in the ring for him will frighten the heck out of the Saints and hopefully make them more willing to deal quickly and fairly on Freeman. I'd like at least a 2nd and 3rd rounder for him please!
(3rd rounder may not be much good to us but could be a sweetener if dealing with Lions (Aish), Swans (pick upgrade), GWS (Treloar) or Suns (just because they are the other team who can use points on academy kids).

No posts on here for about 24 hours. We have forgotten about him already haven't we?

What are the chances we can get Saints 2016 2nd rounder and their third this year for him?

I'd love to use the future pick to help land Aish and then try and bundle 42 & 44 into a package to try and get another pick inside 30.

If we can get 20 or 21 from GWS via Blues (and keep it) we can get 2 back inside 30.

They can be our two live picks upgrade Frost with a late pick (68) then top of with delisted FAs or PSD.

Done and dusted.
