Have to leave something to put in the next game and market as some groundbreaking change.

New patch is out, no major changes.

  • Updated player portraits for a number of players.
  • Tuned the effectiveness of long outlet passes for players with the Break Starter badge.
  • Delay branching from Kobe Bryant Back size-up.
  • Re-worked size-up dribble launches to prevent unnaturally explosive first steps.
  • Tune miss chances for deep downcourt and cherry picking.
  • Dock vertical and rebounding when you go behind the basket. Don’t reset 3-in-the-key offense timer in baseline behind paint for human controlled blacktop players.

New patch should eliminate a lot of cheese. I don't play park or OP myteam so this patch shouldn't affect anything I do or see.
 
So I was wondering if any of you guys could help me.

So im just playing MyGM. Im in preseason for my third season. It's draft day. I have 3 first round picks. 10, 26 and 30.

Everything is fine, I make my picks at 10 and 26, then when pick 30 rolls round, trades are offered to me. I take a trade. Details arent needed.

Then it goes back to the Round 1 board and it just freezes. I can still hear the crowd at the draft day place. I can also click down the L toggle button and it brings up stats and the draft order in a stream along the bottom.

But apart from that. It appears to be completely stuck.

I was annoyed and thought ill have to redo the draft and I hope I still get the guys I wanted. So I turn off the XBox.

Turn it back on. Load NBA2K16 and it just goes straight back to the Round 1 board, exactly where it crashed. No button makes it move on.

So now I cant even get back to the main menu to do anything, reload my MYGM, or play the game at all in any capacity because when I start NBA2K16 it just takes me back to that screen.

Any ideas??

Did you fully turn off the xbox, or just put it in standby mode? I'm guessing the game didn't have to load up again, meaning you put it in standby.

Try going to the main screen, where you can see all the tiles, pressing start while your on the NBA 2K16 tile and closing it manually. Or turning off the power/holding down the off button until the thing properly turns off.

I pressed the X button on the controller. Held it down. Then the options come up on screen. Turn off controller. Turn off console. I turned off the console.

Waited a couple of minutes. Turned it back on. And when I try to start the game it takes me back to that draft day screen in MyGM :(
