MyTeam mode. It's the equivalent of FIFA Ultimate Team.

Collect cards based on past and present NBA players and play through various modes. Modes like Domination that has you play through every team in the NBA, Historic Domination that sees you play against every NBA sides historic versions, Weekly challenges (4 pro difficulty + 1 all start difficulty) and moments challenges. You can also play online against real people.

It's quite the addictive mode.

Sounds intriguing. I have always been someone to jump straight into career mode and never knew something like this existed. Obviously will take a while to get the swing of things?

Managed to get the Wilt challenge done...with 3 seconds remaining in the match!

Was in no trouble actually achieving the score for most of the match and was in no trouble from the opposition (I won by 66 points), but the last quarter I just started bricking a lot of open shots. Turned it over a few times going into the final 30 seconds and wasn't sure if I'd get another shot, but backed in with Yao in the dying seconds and rattled it home to tick over the score to 101.

I like open challenges like that, with no real restrictions. Means anyone can have a go, and win big too.

Somewhat, the best part is they start you off with free agent cards (which you get to use until their contracts run out - so you do also want to use them wisely) and you get to start off against the 76ers, so you get a nice easy win!

get them into the penalty early and slow the game down as much as possible. Should be able to score 25pts per qtr rather easily.

Takes way too much effort just to have a player that's competitive on park... I get bored of one player type after a few weeks and every other game mode sucks

Giving this game a 5/10, step back from last years. Hoping 2k18 addresses the issue but the money hungry bastards will probably make it even harder to get players ready

pretty much feel the same way about it.
still beats trying to play FIFA 17.

I'm liking MyCareer again, after switching to a Sharpshooter PG. Currently playing on All-Star, averaging 27 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals in my rookie season.

Also helps that the Timberwolves are really good in the game, especially KAT.

When the game first came out they were horrendous, they had too many Centers so you would find KG, Aldrich and Jordan Hill playing small forward

The only thing I hate is that Adrian Payne is starting at PF for some weird reason. Dieng was starting at first, but after a while, got dropped for Payne. He wasn't injured or anything.

Along with the common Ruby's from the Game Breakers collection Jason Richardson, Doug Christie and Jamal Crawford I also got Amethyst Karl Malone.

Jordan was going for like 500,000 MT so I'm hoping my duplicate Jordan fetches that or more.

In the My GM mode i saw there is a new option to start the season as of today. I've tried doing this a few times, is there any way to upload rosters for the upcoming draft class so you don't have to draft fake players. It's just not as exciting adding Juwon RICHARDSON to the Celtics with the number one pick, would much rather Markelle FULTZ. I have figured out how to upload a draft in normal My GM just not the 'today' option.

Still working my way through domination. Beat the West All Stars at the second attempt last night - ended up with 806 points and needed 810/815/820 to get the stars.
