Steph Curry is the most useless pile of ****ing trash in this ****ing campaigner game.
I give him so many ****ing open looks and he misses 80% of them like a god damn peasant.
Durant is a selfish piece of shit as well and Green is a complete muppet.

I have been craving some basketball action and considering getting this. Is it worth getting this late even though I've missed a lot of the weekly challenges? Or is the game too much of a grind?

**** me.... i was playing career mode last night... down by 1 with 5 seconds to go, my player catches it and is open... somehow I perfectly time the release shooting the 3, and that green bar made me cheer knowing the ball was in before it even went in! 3.3 seconds to go, i'm up by 2.. I'm actually defended well, they don't go to the guy I am guarding and they hit a bloody 3 with .3 of a second left to take the lead back 
Then I hit the shot from the catch and shoot inbound, but the time had just run out... they do the official review and everything.. but i was a fraction late.

Only if it's about 30 or 40 bucks if you plan on not spending any more on it.
Myteam is an absolute mess now (since the Pink Diamond Harden glitch anyway)
Super Max is bugged like crazy.
Packs and Playoff's mode is boring as bat shit.
and the Schedule's are glitched every where.
I'd only play it for career mode if you were getting it now, that's all i'm playing it for now.
Went to EB to price match as it's closer but it was on sale for 67 anyway.
Looking forward to playing NBA games in Career as the start is a grind. So many pick up games and cut scenes.
Just jumped into a Supermax placement match so I can unlock the AH but I'm playing a beast team with Harden of course so I've put the controller down and wandered off.

wait, what 99 Harden Glitch?
at one point 2k put in almost every pack in a small window.
one you tuber opened 2 boxes and pulled 19 PD Hardens.
and in typical 2k fasion they've done absolute jack all to try and fix what happened.

Just played the most insane MyLeague game, Cavs v Raptors.
Went up for the first time since the middle of the second quarter with 23 seconds on the clock. Raptors come up the court and DeRozan scores a 2, I can't hit a game winner, we go to OT and I go down by a bit. Down 6 with 6 on the clock, Korver hits a 3, Raptors timeout. LeBron gets a steal off the inbound, I try to pull up for 3 but it's a deep 2, hit it nonetheless. 1 point game, 1.9 on the clock. Raptors somehow manage to take 1.4 off the clock before I can foul. They MISS the first FT and hit the second so we call a timeout. Inbound to Korver, take a really ugly turnaround leaning 3 and actually hit it.
Got so hype before I realised it was going to review... And it didn't count.

Playing online in MyTeam, had a juiced squad against an opponent that had mainly Amys.
So in this possession i steal it he dives for it, Almost landing out if bounds then as the clock winds down shoots a half court 3 w CP3. Hits it just before the buzzer to put me 11 points down
The shot was constested, its not like it was Diamond Steph?

I stopped playing this game in November and will definitely not be getting 2K19. When it's been virtually the same game for three years now if there even a point to buy a new one?

2k killed their game with the micro transactions, no one plays this anymore. All the big 2k streamers and youtubers play fortnite almost exclusively now. 2k19 is make or break for them, they will either save the game or go extinct like NBAlive.
Who wants to grind endless hours or spend $200 just for one competitive player on the park that is locked into one position, they made the game boring, a grind and expensive. Pay to win is hopefully a thing of the past now with Fortnite being free and so popular.

Spot on mate. Abit of luck they actually put some effort in the next one. My Team is/was horrible this year they've also lost key personal behind the scenes this release so the cracks are starting to show.

My Team is dead mate. Best time for My Team is on release, the last few weeks of weekly challenges are about to start. But if planning on playing it next release might be worth a look at.
Agree completely with everyone’s sentiment of this game. I used to play mycareer nearly every day and retire my player the night before the new version came out. But I could barely make it through my rookie year this year.
The story and other parts have always been a bit cheesy, but there was something really sinister about it this year. Like they intentionally wanted to frustrate you into spending money. I bet a lot of people would have been like ‘I have to sit through 5 mins of awful cut scenes just to get to the next loading screen .... and I ‘still’ can’t hit a wide open 15 ft jump shot. I’ll just spend an extra $30’. Problem is, even spending the $30, your player still sucks and the game is still boring.
My league/mygm they feel like they should be really fun like a Simple and easy Football Manager for basketball, but they get really boring really fast.
For all the advancements they have made to the graphics, they have gone way backwards in terms of ‘fun’. They have added in these little gimmicks over the last few years like the insomnia curing pre game show, but the presentation used to be way better and make you feel like it was an actual NBA game.
NBA Live have a serious opportunity this year to take over.
