I think Sydney will be competitive tonight and will come out fast and energetic. They haven't played for two weeks whereas this will be Townsville's 3rd game in 8 days.

Too hard to tell how the total game score will go tonight so will leave that but I'm on Sydney first quarter and at the line, +6.5.

Looks like teams are now being consistent in the first quarter/halves and shoot the lights out. With the totals these low, if they do that, the under could be shot. Basically if you're on an under and the first half stays below 80 points, your game under will get up. It all boils down to the first quarter and second quarter scoring when they're in the 150's.

Basically Adelaide in their two games have put up 74. Wollongong has put up 70, 83 and 83. Wollongong had a tough game in Perth on Friday night. They are backing up in Adelaide. I can't see Adelaide scoring more than 80 and that means if they keep Wollongong to around 70, it will stay under. Logic says under here. Taken the first half over in case they come out of the blocks fast.

Can I add one more thing? What you didn't take into account was that all games started off with an insane first or second quarter. Every game bar one in the second half was very low scoring.

Your over wins if they score 50 points in the first or second quarter. If they don't, then it flies under.

Seems that as Sas points out, most 1st halves are high scoring, and with the full game under/over line set over 160, you would think the 1st half would go over 80.5, even though it's a little higher then usual.

A 55 point quarter will help the first half over. I reckon this second quarter will struggle to reach 40. Makes it 95. Total 162.5, under is still highly possible here.

No way do these guys keep up this shooting efficiency.
