Wildcats chances have taken a hit.

Left foot fracture to Devondrick Walker and out for a large portion of the season.

Surely they cut him, unfortunately for imports they are pretty easy to replace and the Cats won't want to be disadvantaged with a key player out for "a large portion of the season". Press release says something about 'the club will continue to support Walker during this time' which sounds to me like they'll cut him but do the morally right thing and he'll still be around the club and looked after, sort of like Jaron Johnson last year (after the first cut lol). If they planned on keeping him you'd think that bit wouldn't be needed because you'd obviously still be supporting and looking after your contracted player.

He's staying in perth but won't be back unless something goes wrong with his replacement, they are looking at keeping him around for next season.

Any wildcat fans might be interested

Shawn redhage led the redbacks to the 2017 SBL title saturday night. Sold out stadium against the joondalup wolves. Close game untill the third when we just smashed the

Kyle Bowden (keep your eyes out) played well off the bench. Dudes 16. Def has potential. Playing in a state league grand final

Pretty big after party. Brother was sending snaps of them all still chugging beers oit of the cup at 4am.

Good stuff for the Redbacks, always had a soft spot for them after I heard a couple of promising teenagers named Andrew Vlahov and Luc Longley were playing there.

Do you play for the Upgrayedd?

Haven't seen him play in years, but from what I've heard he's a beast. iirc I heard years ago he was originally wanting to play WABL at Willetton but he was a year too young still and they wouldn't let him play up an age group, so he switched over to Redbacks to play. Tigers are probably spewing now if that's true lol.

Looks pretty good, apparently been on their radar for a while. Ridiculous athleticism/length and dunker, elite defender, decent passer and looks to be a serviceable shooter. Seems more like Prather than Devondrick Walker type player. Parts of his highlight tapes actually remind me of Ennis a bit when he's getting stops and in the open court on fast breaks.

Yah. Came back from the AIS tour just in time. Name to watch in the future. Considering the wolves are a pretty experienced physical line up as well. Has no fear for someone who is still pretty thin. Future boomer IMO

On that short vid, it looks like he makes good decisions, which is Gleason's type of player.
