Do you think his nickname is homicide because it makes you want to commit it after listening to his commentary?

Galen Young (Wildcats import 2009/10 for those of you playing at home) claimed he used to play ball with Williams back in the play ground and the reason he was called Homicide was because he always got murdered by his opponent.

Don't know how true that story is but personally that's my favorite.

Sydney are awful, Gazey was a great player and seems like a top bloke but can't coach for shit. Liking how the sixers are looking with Childress still to come. Looking like a race of three, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide with probably Illawarra rounding out the four.

Apparently Josh Childress is joining the 36ers.

Not bad. Not bad at all.
Jeff Brown can rest easier now knowing he's olonger the worst import in 6ers histroy

Whatsisname Wiggins - blocked 1st 2 shots , 3rds a brick , breaks arm - gone

This will make Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide the three most dominate teams of the competition.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Usually New Zealand is up there too.

As for Childress, there was noise he'd get back into the NBA a few months ago. I don't know how realistic that was.

Anyway, it's good for the league to have him back but he's a real douche.

Can't wait for him return to the Jungle. The crowd has a long memory and I don't think anyone has forgotten or forgiven his elbow to Wagstaff.

Yeah lol. I remember hating him when he was playing for Sydney. It’ll be interesting to see how I feel with him in Sixer blue.

Back to back to back game on Fox today. Melbourne and NZ should be some fun

Boone must struggle day to day playing with the likes of Goulding and Ware at Melbourne. Had a pretty honest interview at half time where he said Melbourne have been too worried about what the refs are doing

Do like watching Boone play, one of my favourites in the league, and he seems to call it like he sees it too

NZ started the season slowly but the seem to be bringing it together nicely. Did struggle with the concept of them being wooden spoon favourites given how successful they’ve been.

Took my son to his first nbl game today (and first for me since the mid-90's). We both had a great time and will definitely go back.

My understanding was that Melbourne United was a team for all Victorians and represented all the former clubs that had lived and died in the NBL. As an old spectres/magic fan, it was disappointing to see only Tigers banners and jerseys hanging up.

Agree with this but who would know what happened to the retired Giants and magic singlets (actually dont think Magic retired any). I suppose you could replicate them though.
