Cotton was superb but being fair Adelaide were without two of their top scorers and had their best defender go down in the first half.

Yeah, this win was a lot more about Bryce than about the Wildcats, who are consistently dishing up some of the worst defence seen in recent decades. So much so that it takes a superstar going stratospheric just to get past a pretty average opponent.

When a player that (at the time) averages 11 points a game drops 51 on you and your coaches solution to that situation is be more aggressive offensively. Unfortunately you know defence isn't high on the coaching staffs priority list.
