Just relieved to get out of there with the W in the end. Tassie wanted no part of a home opener party night cruise. Gotta love em.

The first of many rollercoaster type games for the Cats I suspect. Sure can get on a roll but sure can get scrappy too. Defensive lapses galore but I won't complain too hard in week 1.
Welcome to Perth, Jordan Usher. Debuts don't get much better than that!

Is that asshat Riley really gonna give Sarr 15 minutes a game?

Guy couldnt coach a 1 year old how to s**t in its diaper
When these guys have 1 eye on the NBA I suspect they play just to show enough without going OTT and risking injury etc. Plus hes a kid in his first game, it'll grow a bit

I hope you dont expect him to be there at the pointy end though as he'll very likely do a Lamelo once hes shown enough

Id expect him to hang around to the pointy end myself as its simply too long without basketball til the 2024 season to just bail in December. Lamelo would have stayed around if not for injury.

Id expect Sarr to play 30 minutes myself. He is in that weird spot where people are just not sure if he is pick 1 or not so he needs to ball out

He did look bloody good tbh. If he plays the whole season out Id like you guys to win it all. Not alot of height if he bails

Tassie are good too. Liked their starters but no real bench. That game was infinitely higher level than ours prior 😂. 36ers look amateur at times

Perth looked unstoppable in patches, yet JJs still had a chance over there. Think both will be top 4. JJs lack of depth probably won't hurt them in playoffs but do worry it will force them to over play that starting 5 and risk burn out or injury. Even when Magnay plays it doesn't really make it any better.

Yes of course he is. And Riley is clearly going to start Wagstaff in every game as well and Henshall will never see playing time all season because Riley has no idea.

I was going to ask what the deal with Henshall was. Expected him to get a fair few minutes

Brissy disorganised. Two tall forwards move to wing for the connection, and noone in i50.

Check the foul count and you might get your answer

Not a single free throw for the game, poor Bryce he’s never experienced that in his entire NBL career.

But although the final score flattered the Wildcats, it’s interesting on Friday they had 6 extra free throws and win by 5, today 11 less and lose by 11.

Guess my claim about the Wildcats has been proven true yet again!
