15 teams would be 28 games as you dont play yourself.

Don't make the same mistakes the A-League has done cramming in melbourne and sydney teams!

Darwin isn't viable IMO. No imports would live there, no good players would live there over any other team, tiny population, expensive flights. It's got no chance
Sydney has 3 teams. Hardly cramming.

Yes, of course.
Thank you

How's the crowd on the new Sydney and Melbourne teams? Non existent. No need to make same mistakes in NBL
Sad Lilo And Stitch GIF

Pie in the sky but would be great if heritage round kits went full retro with old sponsors. Chuck a west end logo on the bare upper chest, move player numbers to where the nbl logo is now and remove Walker and the kit is true to the real one they are paying homage too.

Would be like chucking the Pura milk logo on the blue one from a couple of seasons back. Embrace the heritage

Was thinking that, SEM are rocking the Magic kit (although the away white one at home 👎, but definitely needs the Big M logo.

Due to the ownership ****ups in MacArthur and WU is in a brand new location that will be huge long term.
Nah, they went into already captured markets. They didn't increase its viewership, just divided it out.

The New Auckland team has had more sellouts in 3 games than the other 2.

On NBL, Both Melbourne and Sydney have its big team, small team set. In saying that, Geelong region and Western Sydney could be a play if you want a 3rd team in the area.

But you should look at SE Queensland, The Hunter region, Canberra, and even another NZ team. The NBL are in a position to ask governments to bid for a team, by expanding arenas. I know that is the biggest hurdle for Canberra.

Where the blitz goes, is where they (Larry) is interested in. And he seems very interested in the Gold Coast.

So piss off the current sponsors who are paying money to be on the jersey, by displaying old sponsors who are getting exposure for free.

As you said, pie in the sky stuff

Exactly. I’m just being nostalgic that’s all.

MacArthur isn’t a captured market, they are further away from the Wanderers than the Wanderers are from Sydney FC.

And? Totally different setup.

Hawks aren’t in Sydney.

Only places I can see getting a shot is GC, because businesses just won’t give up on the area, Canberra, Newcastle and WS.
Have zero idea about Geelong.

Yep

Subject to a fitness test Bryce is back tonight.
All hail the return of King Cotton!

If Perth will revert to early season form then the jungle drums will beat for Bryce to move east

This doesn't make any sense, how did the JJs with 80% of the same team get so dogshit? This is brutal already.

Tasmanians will jump off a bandwagon quicker than you can get out of that friggen DEC peninsula, it's been the failure of pretty much every Tasmanian team that has appeared on a national scale - Tassie can absolutely compete in all the off court metrics when things are going well, but when shit's bad everything will nosedive so quick you won't have time to even prepare for it.

Tell you what, if that's the response, we oughta give up 20 point starts more often.

That turned into a mad fun game, with the Jackies playing a style of basketball that I haven't seen them play in ages, certainly not this season.

A long way is an under statement from what I saw tonight.

been a common theme over the season.

At first I thought he was just being under used, but then the touches he does get he usually fluffs. Apart from one put back dunk he was real bad tonight

Geech...sette.

There is a waiting list for memberships. The Jackies are not going anywhere. They are everywhere down here and that is not going to go away with a bad season or 2.(this is a slow start, not a bad season.)

As for the match, Doyle can be so frustrating sometimes. But when he is on, he is silky smooth. We missed Sean Mac so so much. Brisbane disappoints. That is an organization that needs something to change
