The fallout from the Melbourne v Adelaide match heats up.

Code Sports reporting that a complaint has been lodged against the Melbourne court announcer for inciting the situation between the clubs, and there’s been racism and homophobia reports lodged with the NBL’s integrity unit.

Meanwhile, the ticket holder who gave their ticket to the hoodie guy is allegedly not cooperating to identity the guy.

United should be docked points

Only thing that stops the behaviour

So spectator says that’s why you’re not in the NBA and he jumps in to the crowd to confront them…
That’s not all was said.
Did also read he’s considering not coming back, Adelaide will be back to spoon contenders.
Can understand why, been against two Vic teams and both went lowball racial.

I think more will come out on what was said to Davis. He was wild

But it’s all that was said before he jumped in to the crowd, then it escalated.

Not excusing the spectators at all, but players should be able to have enough restraint to remain on the court.

Then again they shouldn’t be kicking and punching opponents either, so I guess restraint isn’t really something he has…

It escalated when the fan pushed vasiljevic and the Sixers ceo.

Harrell hardly went into the crowd, he was held back

I can’t see United being docked points but I can see them from being banned from selling courtside seats for the foreseeable future, if not the rest of the season.

The loss of revenue from that (and loss of sponsorship opportunities) would not be insignificant.

No it wasn’t. Stop fibbing.

Seems like you are making excuses for the ****wits.

Well Shea Illi shouldn’t of kicked him first to escalate it.

all said and done, if Harrell is suspended for a length of time or doesn’t come back then I hope Jarell Martin has spent the FIBA break doing nothing but cardio

Wrong

He told Kendrick Davis to get his black ass back off the court which both Harrell and Davis took offense too. Harrell said "make us" and then the fan started shoving people.

Even for the on court stuff?

I’d have thought he and Ili would
Swept under the rug for sure. Harrell isn't the type of guy to draw attention to racial slurs and suspect NBL are happy to listen to him and do what he wants

Just 1 week for Ili confrontation and everyone moves on

Say what you want about him but Harrells attitude towards the game is commendable if you ask me, especially in a team thats had effort and culture issues previously. The right man for the right team he is. Even if he got 8 weeks id keep him around the grounp

I think both just get fines.
36ers back room will kick off in a big way of Trez gets games.
And the NBL I doubt will want to have any negative press around their big ticket player this season. He's been huge for the league this season and even more so if the Sixers make a playoff run.

I fully expect it to be swept under the rug.

Why on earth are people suggesting Trez is leaving? Has not shown one sign of disinterest or bad attitude that I've seen and speaks highly of the NBL/Adelaide

I wouldn't hold it against him if he took an NBA offer but I think he sees the season out (I'm sure he said he was staying all year not long ago too)
