Not saying Rillie is a good coach, he is deplorable but even if he does leave, we are still a long way off it I feel. I think if we play defense, offensively we will fall into a hole anyway. Zero ball movement in any way and a slowed down pace of the game are not a good duo. I think its time to piss Doolittle off and look for a import who can defend a guard. Id make that move before letting Rillie go mid season atleast

Rillie on his last chance. If he fails then off he goes. We look to rebuild thereafter

I'm not sure Doolittles the issue either

Jeez. Didn’t like the incident but 5 seems harsh
Really? Incredibly lucky. Most other sports you'd be looking at massive suspensions. Do that in AFL would get a season.

Watched trezz not even be disciplined for similar. And the ref appeared to admit some culpability.

Didn’t follow the case closely but were both instances taken into account? The push while charging at the tas player as well as pushing away the referee that did restrain him?

Watching Adelaide is a shit show.

Insert “ninnis would be doing better, look what he’s doing with the lightning” here

100%

Friday night’s loss notwithstanding there’s been improvement from the Lightning since he took over the reigns.

Meanwhile, the club that trotted out some bullshit excuse about Ninnis ‘Not meeting standards’ has lost their last 3 matches by a combined 65 points against the 3 teams immediately above them on the ladder.

Imagine if they had played Illawarra or Melbourne United in the past week?

There does need to be accountability for what is happening now, yes. But what about earlier in the season when they were beating Illawarra etc? The ninnis lovers went quiet then.

This is deeper than the coach - it is a trend with the Sixers over a number of years.

That's one of the more damning pieces of media you'll see particularly in Australia from a team culture perspective, something seems to be very wrong.

Martin starting last night was crazy, the guy is so shit, he just jacks up threes and never tries to get under the basket at all. I'm hoping DJ off the bench was a load management thing because he needs to be here long term but the Trez thing is now looking to end in tears, his attitude during timeouts and stuff has become really embarrassing.

The Illawarra game was one of the rare times the 36ers have won away this season (they’ve even lost to Cairns on the road this season).

A solid home record early in the season was papering over the cracks but now that’s gone the rotten culture at the 36ers from the ownership down is exposed for all to see once again.

And now Trez is back trash talking on his socials again in response to Damon Lowery’s comments last night. The 36ers do know how to pick them.

Meanwhile several club legends don’t want anything to do with the club anymore because of the ‘standards’ the club supposedly want to set.

There’s middle ground to be had here.

These club legends have been pretty happy sitting around while the club has been a dumpster fire too.

Ninnis being Brett Maher’s mate shouldn’t entitle him to some free pass. This is a professional league and Adelaide needed to shape up rather than stick with blokes because it makes the old boys happy.

Wells is a failure but I can see the reasoning behind why the change was made.

Top to bottom clean out needed.

Wells would’ve been palatable if the club hadn’t signed Ninnis on for 2 years 5 minutes before they boned him (when Ninnis was actually making progress with the side).

Now we’re in a far worse position.

I totally get that we want to avoid a boys club situation like you see with some AFL clubs, but you don’t run the club’s greatest player out of the club, plus one of the club’s most loyal servants over some blow in who has shown he can’t coach
