When you find yourself thinking this, cast your mind back to the glory days of BT and Dwayne “Drop Step” Russell calling games.

Don't forget Dwayne's "Shake and Bake" every time the ball handler switched from their right to left hand because the clown doesn't know what a cross over dribble is.

That said surely there must be former players and coaches they can approach about doing these jobs instead of hacks like Montagna, Russell and Taylor?

Had cairns not rolled over in overtime against us in Indigenous Round, Sunday Dech’s brainless shooting foul would’ve been our worst moment of the year until last night.

Now we have Lat Mayen’s bottle job turnover.

JJs down on players but play as a team. Will not win the chip this year but will scare some teams.

Heading along to the JJs Perth game this afternoon, expect Perth to be too strong but Roth always throws some curve balls eg starting a DP player who had only played 15 seconds in junk time and hits 3 threes in the first quarter...Stoddart.

No transition Defence from the Jackjumpers. Roth played the kids from the middle of the 3rd onwards.

Cats dominance in that one probably cost Cotton a 40 & 10 and the team $100k. They were heading for a big total.

Turned into garbage time early unfortunately, but absolutely the correct call by Roth to throw the kids on. A comeback was beyond reality and his main guys didn't need to be worn down any further. Zero to be gained by giving max effort from that point.

Bad time in the JJs schedule to be down players.

Best thing from the game from a wildcats point of view was that’s the best D they have played in a while. Most games I swear they let teams just get easy baskets but they were really making tassie work for anything they got. Scoring is never going to be an issue with this team.

We were playing an injury-depleted JJs team on game 4 of a Sun-Tue-Fri-Sun doomsday quadruple.
Can only beat the team in front of you, but I'm not reading too much into that for the Cats' defence. (or the offence for that matter. Tassie were uncharacteristically awful at that end too)
