Yep not saying Rillie and his assistants are the only ones...Vickerman loves a run on to the court but they were looking like they were trying to play D themselves
I don’t even understand why there is any tolerance or flex in the interpretation of the rule.

Should be black and white, step onto the court, bang, tech.

Exactly.

Side note I went to the same High School as Royce Hart ......walked along the beach it backs onto earlier today

Say what you want about Chris Goulding but **** me, he’s an elite, cold blooded shooter.

Yep I am one who detests the way he throws his head back and whingers on every play but damn he can shoot.

His legacy will be a mix of out and out gun and could have played differently to me.

100%

Friday night’s loss notwithstanding there’s been improvement from the Lightning since he took over the reigns.

Imagine if they had played Illawarra or Melbourne United in the past week?

Since this comment - Adelaide has beaten both. While things have been a shit show you can’t deny the positives when they do occur. We are on track to improve on last year despite all that has happened.

By the way, how’s Ninnis got the lightning playing now?

I do get the feeling the 36ers are playing in spite of the coach and not for him.

it will be interesting at seasons end. The club wants Davis to stay. We have DJ & Humphries contracted up. Harrell is gone. Will Davis stay if the coach stays and Harrell no longer there? I have my doubts.

It’ll be par for the course for the Sixers at season’s end sadly.

Davis would command a lot regardless.

:smilingimp:

I've been restraining myself from mentioning it here, so thanks for stepping up

Not that I wish the guy any ill will, but there’s a lot of rose coloured glasses in how he is/was going.

This.

Seems to be since that player-led crisis meeting the other week (without the coaching staff) the team has lifted.

Still have the shit the bed moments (Tasmania game) but they’ve definitely played better since they’ve decided to sideline the coaching staff.

Which then brings us to the next questions. When does Wells become the latest coach to enter the 36ers coaching graveyard? And how long can the players sideline the coaching staff before it all unravels again?

Right on cue

Right on cue

One of the assistants was having a go at Davis at the final whistle for nearly giving away a foul at the end and letting his player get away from him for a free shot.

Reports Davis was standing up to Wells who was having a crack at Humphries.

Ulgun is usually reliable
There is zero chance Humphries will be there next year, if Wells still is.

The look on his face while sitting out the bulk of the second half, combined with his recent comments, he’s done.
Humphries is legit - does not get the ball. that is on the coach.

Would have him at the JJs
