I was being a bit of a smart arse in that the commentators could not stop going on about it. I mean tell us once for those not up to date with the ladder. Tell us again if you like. But not every god damn play has to have some comment about how it does or doesn’t affect the percentage.

Very dangerous take here - but if people think different jerseys for special rounds are cash grabs, the nbl pride round jerseys are the biggest cash grab. Not even an effort. You’d have to be looking for the detail to even recognise it.

They're like the opposite of pride. We're bursting with pride and to prove it we'll make sure you need a magnifying glass to know that our jerseys are themed.
I guess the Taipans were in charge of it this year?

(For the record I'm 100% good with having a pride round. I think it's still very much relevant. Maybe the fact that they felt the need to keep it super low key proves its relevance. But maybe also they shouldn't do it if it's this token. It feels more like begrudging/shame round than pride)

1-10 at home is crazy. Especially considering I think our away record vs Melbourne in the last 11 regular season games is 5-6.
It just seems to be entrenched in both teams' heads that Melbourne will win here.

it’s why I’ll never bother buying one, plus they usually only flog them at custom prices.

The AFLW is probably the best league I’ve seen so far for actual effort with pride jumpers.
