NBN issue to the house

Hijacking this thread. Last couple of months internet has been constantly dropping out day,night and gets really slow at times

So I emailed my ISP and they emailed me


Anyone know of any solutions for this 'bridge tap? Thank you

I assume you are FTTN, do you know how far away you are from the node?

I've given up on NBN. 5g is available where I am now, know someone who is nearby and there were getting over double the rates at a lower price.

Trying to get NBN FTTP was a complete disaster.

Trying to get NBN FTTP was a complete disaster.

No idea about distance, but I went out and bought a vr1200 modem today for 90$ and replaced my old Optus modem (which maybe was dying?) and it’s worked a treat. Getting 5x the internet speed.
