Looks like they are MW bound but there is still talk of them trying to take MW teams and rebuild the Pac.

I think the MWC needs 9 of 11 schools (Hawai'i a football only affiliate) to vote out to not hvae to deal with exit fees in the next 2 years.

TBH - Just having the 2 merge with the MWC would be best. Only way it goes the other way is if the MWC dissolves and Hawai'i and 1 other is offloaded. Problem is, the schools weak at football are strong at basketball. Probably the only school weak in both is SJSU, and they're probably in the biggest market (Or will someone argue Utah State, Colorado State or Air Force?)

Just join the MWC.

How much are the really good Bowl games worth?

If I'm one of the 2nd tier PAC 12 teams - lets use UCLA as an example based on their last 10 years - I'm getting the extra $10m a year from tv deals, but how much am I losing by likely playing in a worse bowl game?

On the flipside, if the PAC 12 survives and I want my school to be a big fish in a small pond, how much am I making from getting a much better Bowl game?

Pac-12 tie-ins are anywhere between $2.2m and $8.5m. NY6 bowls are about $20-40M per team and bonus payments on top.
