Any news since New Years? Whisper has it the saints have a bit of coin to spend and have signed a few recruits from Melbourne. Anyone know how they go?
Ladder prediction:

B-W
SL-N
ST A
CHAR

WED
DON
W-N
BOORT

Bit quiet on here but looks like there a bit of action on the clearance page.
Saints look like they have added some top end talent with Crone and a few out of Greensborough.
I did hear a whisper that a few of Boort early signings have now got cold feet. Didn’t get names so probably nothing in it.
Giraffe Holmes looks like his done a number on Donald. They should drop right off you’d think.
Sounds like the Saveloys could be DeAraguo-less this year with Jake having the year off and Roo hanging up the Copas.
Birchip would be over the moon to have Castellano and Radcliffe back. I wouldn’t have thought Hore makes them any worse either. Hore & Hinkley across half back looks good on paper.
Doesnt look like a lot coming into Tigers at this stage and loosing Collins, should see them come back to the pack a little.
Charlton havnt had much movement in the new year but look like they have topped up where they needed.
We were hoping Howtall would sneak back into the country unnoticed and land in a Wyche jumper, sounds like he did all his traveling last year and happy to stay closer to Bendigo. Bit we’ve added a few, which all going to plan should see us sneak an extra few wins in.

MEDIA RELEASE
Changes to Leagues within AFL Central Victoria Region due to COVID-19 AFL Central Victoria wishes to advise that following a meeting with the League Chairs and Managers of the Bendigo Football Netball League, Bendigo Junior Football League, Central Victorian Football League Women, Heathcote District Football Netball League, Loddon Valley Football Netball League, North Central Football League and the Bendigo Umpires Association, a collective decision has been made to postpone commencement of each League across the region.
The decision was collectively agreed upon to delay the scheduled start date for all competitions until the first weekend in May. This decision was made due to concerns for the coronavirus and the need to protect the health and safety of players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and the broader community. Fixtures will be amended to complete the season resulting in later grand finals. Leagues will continue to explore fixturing alternatives however acknowledge the situation is fluid and any decision may change.
In the interim, the Commission and League Chairs are advising clubs to cease all activities in relation to football and netball, including training and practice matches from today, Tuesday 17th March until 1 st April 2020.
This will be subject to further direction by the Government and AFL. We, like many organisations are doing our best to make decisions which are in the best interests of all concerned. - Ends – Carol Cathcart, Regional General Manager AFL Central Victoria Region on 5434 2400 further details. I have a historical question relating to a player from the 1980s. Does anybody know the first name of G. McInnes who played for Donald in 1981?

Thanks for the info. Now I have to know why they called him "Yak".
Played some intercomp cricket with Yak in the 80s. Before scoreboards if we were bowling he could tell u the score and how many overs had been bowled at anytime. missing a finger, was known to drop the odd catch.

You don't happen to have any info on North Central goal scoring lists for 1981 or 1982 by chance?

Brilliant, thanks for this. Do you have similar data for 1982?

Have you been able to make any progress on a top-10 list for 1982?

Just to clarify, is this list only for home and away matches? Was the 1981 list inclusive of finals?
