Is it genuinely negativity for the sake of negativity, or is it perhaps a high standard that we set for the folks wearing the EFC jumper, because we know the standard can and should and must be reached and maintained.
Of course you back your team in and of course you hope that you can offer a fellow supporter a stick next week so he can scrape a bit of Carlton off his foot. I'm even tipping the Bombers because I think if you're going in against the Blues 3-0 and you can't even back your own side in then you might as well give up the whole caper, but I don't think that objectivity should be hounded out the door. Because by Christ are we up against it next week.
