On the other hand I keep telling myself all the pressure is on them.
They've basically been on top all season so it was a formality that they've made the big dance.

Anyone (inc me) would've been laughed at if you said 12 months ago we'll be playing in a grand final.

Either way I love the way our playing group has conducted themselves in this finals series. Three years in a row we saw ourselves go to water in a pressure cooker environment. This group has absorbed the pressure with shear resilience and then applied the pressure back with ferocity via tackling, harassing and an in your face attitude. These tiggies arnt afraid to bite back!

can you imagine the the unprecedent amount of shit the poor buggers are going to cop should we beat them?

I've been remarkably calm about it all this week, but it's been building on me in the past couple of hours.

Combination of the time getting closer, finalising by plans for the day and the attitude by many on BF (Adelaide fans and Richmond hating 'neutrals') that the result is a given has started to get the nerves tightening.

Still think Adelaide are favorites, but it's a 60/40 game, and let's face it, that's a hell of a lot closer to a flag than we've been in a LONG time.

I'm remarkably calm. From about Rd 5 we've been playing with bookies money. If anything further excellent happens (hmmmmm, wonder what?), it's just more bonus.

As most have said - the Crows fans are probably doing it tougher. They SHOULD win - just like the rest of the year, when everyone SHOULD have beaten the Tigers.
