Brothers, anyone can post an official "The Toump" alert. We need eyes everywhere.

OFFICIAL "THE TOUMP" ALERT

From Yepits 2020 on the West Horsham Poort Board

"Really hope Toumpas becomes a 200 game player for us. Give it time and it will happen."
In circa 2032 perhaps

When on earth have I ever said he would spend the whole season in the 2s? I'd love to see some supporting examples.

BTW, twos or 2s is not possessive. You might want to rethink whatever it is you're seeking to achieve with the apostrophe.

No worries grammar police :drunk:

You're fond of the old emoticon, aren't you? I applaud the idea. Pictures are very useful when you struggle with words.

So how is the old Toump travelling at the moment? If you want to express it in a drawing or something, nobody here will judge you.

I will, I consider myself quite the MSPaint connoisseur.
Your work on that thread has been outstanding. Sort of posting your idea then asking everyone to imagine it if it actually was a cartoon or image.

I suspect you just pretend to work in Gympie. In reality you're a multi millionaire producer in Holywood writing treatments for movies. So far I expect you were probably responsible for both "Speed" and "Twins".

It's like that Leonardo DiCaprio movie where he cons money by pretending to be all these different people, except that I didn't bother doing that and only pretended to be a person who pretended to be all those different people, so it's more like that Richard Linklater movie.

You're aware I clicked like because I couldn't formulate a comeback?

Have you not been drinking? It's Friday.

Friday.

Gotta get down...

:D:D:D

I did that thing when someone posts a video. Will I / won't I click and spend some time on it or can I click like and imply I watched it and move on?

I chose to watch and am well happy. Excellent stuff.

Ah... well I would've linked the scene I was referring to if I could find it on YouTube. I'm surprised you watched it. The 75 minute run time seems short, although it seems to be on fast forward slightly and the sound quality blows. Still one of my favourite movies - not everyone's cup of tea though.

I liked it, but I'm a big PKD fan. As I said, it's not everyone's cup of tea, and trying to make a movie out of the book is fairly difficult given the subject matter.

Got inspired to watch it through again yesterday after borrowing it from a bloke who owns every sci fi dvd made. I've read the book but a long while back - from what I remember of it, the film is surprisingly faithful. I thought it was brilliant but the two people I watched it with didn't get it at all and thought I was mad. I think it's that kind of film. I doubt it was a massive success in box office takings. I don't even recall its release now that I think of it, because if I'd known I would definitely seen it at the time.

I found the book a bit of a difficult read because of all the 70s vernacular. Agree it was a pretty faithful adaptation and well made, but I always felt that the book is better method in this case because watching the movie, Keanu Reeves looks like Keanu Reeves, so the Arctor / Fred separation is more gradual and less blunt on paper.

OFFICIAL "THE TOUMP" ALERT

Now is the winter of our discontent. Will West Horsham ever be Resurrection City for the Toump?

Me too. Can't see it happening though. Petracca will crunch him into a fine powder.

Seasoning for the boys post game souvlakis?

The one with more bold in his column is the one that doesn't play for you

Also anyone who thinks the Eddie Dingle genuinely thinks Toumpas will win the brownlow is having a laugh, he has pretty much said that about everyone and was clearly piss take
Including behinds, clangers, frees against and time on ground ;)

OFFICIAL "THE TOUMP" ALERT

On the outer: Who is missing selection for your club?

SOME are favourite sons, others new arrivals from other clubs or much-touted youngsters who haven't quite come on. They are the forgotten men who are plying their trade mainly in the state leagues rather than the big time.

AFL.com.au takes a look at who's on the outer at your club, and other players who are kicking off the dew in suburbia.

Jimmy Toumpas
is yet to cement his place in the side after being traded from Melbourne in the off-season. The Toump was dropped after round seven

We have the uncanny ability to make dud players look good. I'm looking at you Redpath and Bell. I'm quietly confident this won't be the case with Toump. He's just so soft, so so soft.
